The month of November has arrived and with it, some beautiful mushrooms (¨FungiFriday¨)

It is incredible that we have reached the month of November, the days go by really quickly. Very happy to be back in this wonderful ¨FungiFridayCommunity¨: and like every Friday , accompany our friend @ewkaw in his splendid ¨FungiFridayContest¨: in his brilliant initiative. This is one of those contests that are very attractive to participate in, since it allows you to expand your knowledge about mushrooms, so you have an idea, before starting to write my post, I have seen more than ten posts that have been published, and all and each of them have presented beautiful varieties with very interesting information, I have seen "bride's veil" mushroom, "bird's nest" mushroom, "jelly mushrooms", I met several scientific names, and that is what really this initiative. I hope you can also join this contest

This has been one of those years of many emotions, and when that happens, the days seem to go by faster; When I think that we have already gone through three days of the last month of the year, I realize that the days are slipping out of our hands, for that same reason, I try to enjoy as much as possible the days that I go out for a walk in search of mushrooms. Those who regularly read my posts know that I am blessed to have a large natural space where I usually find the mushrooms that I show you. In recent weeks it has rained a little more, and as you know, it is very good for the development of mushrooms. On our last visit, we discovered two very beautiful varieties, one of which I have already introduced to you on another occasion, and here It is known by the name ¨Steccherinaceae¨: This type of fungus reproduces in the bark of the branches or wood of fallen trees, this one in particular has a very particular shape, it is very similar to a “vegetable sponge”
I had never seen the other variety of mushroom that we have found before, and when that happens, I am very happy to discover something new for me, in this situation I always resort to a very effective tool , it is a free use of the web, perhaps you already know it, I am talking about ¨Googlelens¨: so far it is the best option I have found to identify the new fungi I find. The tool identified the fungus with the name ¨Gymnopilus¨: this type of fungus He has a large family, there are several hundred

From what I was able to investigate on the web, it would be a species known by the name of ¨GYMNOPILUS¨¨SPECTABILIS¨: A well-known variety in much of the world, as you can see, it develops on branches or trunks of trees in a state of rot. From what I could read, I don't think it can be eaten, since it is estimated to be toxic and causes hallucinations.

I find it hard to believe that such a beautiful mushroom can be toxic, although I think it is one of its defense mechanism. I took some photographs with our ¨nikoncoolpixb500¨ from below to identify them better, and to be honest, I think they look very beautiful. It's been a while since I've seen so many mushrooms together, here they are usually seen more solitary. This has been another great week of mushroom hunting, found two very interesting varieties

So many different types of mushrooms! :)
What you say is very true, dear friend @ramon2024, the universe of mushrooms is really huge, we are always surprised by some new variety.
thank you very much for this pleasant visit
I love the way you perceive the #FungiFriday challenge. It is indeed a great way of learning more about this fascinating world of fungi as well as spoil the senses with amazing pictures of the mushrooms we might otherwise never been able to see where we live.
You captured some great types of mushrooms. I know what you mean when you say that it’s hard to believe that something so beautiful can be toxic. In truth though, most mushrooms are not deadly and you’d have to eat some huge quantities to be seriously harmed.
I love this challenge, dear friend @fantagira, since since I started participating, I have learned a lot about this beautiful world.
What you say about mushroom toxins is true, and it is true that you have to ingest a lot of it to cause serious injuries.
Thank you very much for the great support you always give me.
Have a wonderful day
