La primera casa que vivimos era de mis abuelos paternos, mama se tomó el trabajo de hacer desde cero un hermoso jardín en un rincón de la propiedad, fue allí donde descubrí la existencia de esta hermosa planta, era una hermosa variedad de ¨Dahlia¨: sus flores tenían varios colores combinados y resaltaban en la distancia del resto de las plantas. Cuando tuvimos que mudarnos no hemos podido llevar todas las plantas con nosotros, solo llevamos algunos ¨tubérculos¨ de la planta de ¨dahlia¨ y con ella mi madre inicio el jardín. En esta propiedad tenía mucho más espacio, lo que permitió que tuviera más de diez tipos diferentes de ¨dahlia¨

La otra oportunidad que tuve de cruzarme con esta hermosa planta fue cuando conocí a mi esposa, y creo que fue la razón de que permaneciéramos por más de 37 años juntos; al igual a mi madre mi esposa Gabriela ama esta planta, y las tuvimos en las dos casas donde hemos vivido, nos encanta ver alegre a nuestro hogar, la razón principal de sembrar plantas de ¨Dahlia¨: en cada rincón de la casa. Estas imágenes que hicimos con nuestra ¨nikoncoolpixb500¨ no son de nuestro jardín, estas las tomamos en una hermosa reserva que esta muy cerca de casa
