It’s A Triple Play ~ #SPUD5 <> 2 Year Steem-versary <> 10K Steem Power level Reached ~ Steem On!!

Yep, you read that right, it’s been 2 years since I first encountered this thing we call Steem. It was a couple days ago and I needed a good excuse to mention my Steem-Versary. So why not do a triple-play post and cover all the amazing milestones my account has reached in the past couple days. Most wouldn’t call them amazing but I think they are and that is all that matters so poo-poo on you for downplaying my achievements. I honestly hope no one took that seriously It’s all just jokes... except for my mind blowing milestones :wink:wink.

3,390 Steem Power-Up

If you haven’t already seen all the people Powering-Up their Steem and participating in #SPUD5... then just get out from under that rock and Power-Up some Steem yourself! So ya today is Steem Power-Up Day - You know the 1st of September 2019 (now it is the 2nd since the Blockchain had a bit of a hiccup if you will) and I have been stackin’ up some Steem and waiting for this day!! I’ve had an itchy Power-Up thumb really bad lately and I have somehow managed to keep it holstered until now. This is my Biggest Power-Up to date!! Thanks to the low Steem price...he he he My #SPUD5 performance is nothing but epic. (In my mind of course) I was initially going to just Power-Up 3,300 Steem...

Then I looked at my total Steem Power after the Power-Up and the number just looked funny to me for some reason. I have no idea why, but it just looked funny. Maybe it was the fact that I was so close to 10,300 Steem Power that did it??

So I went ahead and Powered-Up another 90 Steem to out me over that 10,300 Steem Power mark. There now doesn’t that just feel better? Well maybe not and that is all that counts. Remember this isn’t about you it’s about me. It’s about me Powering-Up Steem so I can give You hard working Steemians Bigger Upvotes to reward Your hard work, effort and dedication to the Steem-O-Sphere. Plus increasing my stake to fight abuse around this place. Scammers, spammers, bid bot abusers, vote farmers, and plagiarizers don’t deserve rewards. You do!! The honest hardworking Steemain!! So I take that back, you know the stuff I said about this not being about you. If you look at it, it actually is about You... My fellow dedicated Steemians. This Power-Up is for You!!

GREAT!! Now I am so close to 10,400 Steem Power!! Okay that is enough!! This could go on forever!! Unless I just Power-Up 20 more Steem to hit that 10,400 Steem Power mark then I will be 100% satisfied with my #SPUD5 contribution... maybe??..

Ok there.. I had to use Steemworld.org because Steempeak was down. Plus I gained some Steem so now I only had to Power-Up 14. Hehehe I think now I am happy... I think... Great now I have to go and change my cover image and do some editing of the text... Nope not going to do it. I am leaving it just the way it is. My “Give a Crap” level is a little depleted due to not getting home until 4 am this morning. No I wasn’t out partying, I was working. We had a power outage in the woods, when a tree fell through the powerlines.

Always ready and willing to throw those hooks on at 2 am and do some work.

Moving on to the next great achievement...

10,400 Steem Power

With the help of the Steem price being so low and... well I am just going to come out and say it. I have a Steem buying addiction!! The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem right? When the prices are this low my addiction worsens. Honestly I thought it would take me 10 years to get to the 10k Steem Power mark but I guess the market and all the development going on around this Blockchain said otherwise. I see bigger and better things in the future that is why I continue to power up my account and I encourage others to do so too. I also challenge anyone with a decent amount of Steem Power to stop self-voting and spread that to other deserving Steemians. Ya ya, “it’s my stake and I can do what I want.” I - I - I... Me - Me - Me.... umm sounds a little self.... :chirp:chirp.. moving on

If the price continues to stay low or even go lower I will be continuing to buy up that Steem. Who knows I might be hitting that 20K milestone sooner that later.

2 years on the Block... Chain

I have been balancing Family, Kids, DIY Projects, work, Garden, and what seems to be a bajillion other things all with a Dash of Steem on top for the past 2 years. Priorities are a must and often times these priorities become tough to keep straight. Certain things have to be placed on the back burner at times, sorry Steemians that is just how it is. There are more important things in my life than Steem. I know it might seem hard to believe but it is true. Don’t get me wrong it would be great to be able to curate all day long. Resteeming, replying, upvoting, encouraging Steemians but I honestly don’t have time for all that. I do what I can to show my support for as many people as possible with the minimal amount of time I have. I do everything on my iPhone... everything!!

So that is why I created the @splatz curation trail to help out with my absence. Simply mention @splatz in your reply to a SplatWorthy post and it will be Manually curated by a couple of Choice Steemians. We get notified with Steemify and can quickly check out the post, comment, upvote and resteem. Sometimes it takes a village you know what I am sayin’? Delegations to @splatz are always welcome, I know I am going to be delegating with this Power-Up.

The last couple years have been a lot of fun to say the least. Seeing the way my posts have evolved from the time I started here is actually quite funny to me. Posting just to post is a thing of the past. I try my best to post with a purpose. Give you all a little sumpin’ sumpin’ you know. One thing I have come to almost like in a weird kind of way is, never knowing if the hours I spend creating a post will even be “worth it” Sometimes it’s $0.15 other times it’s $2.50... it keeps me guessing. Shoot I get a little excited to see a post go over $1.00 and think I have scored big time. LOL. Then there are those times you catch a curation trail and the votes just come rollin’ in, which makes you feel somewhat appreciated. Then you might catch a big vote from @blocktrades and @ocd or possibly @dtube when creating a video. Now I know these aren’t the only big accounts floating around in the Steem sea. I guess the others must be stuck swimming in circles or something...

This place has brought out my inner creativity, a desire to try new things and learn new skills and making videos for D.tube has also helped me become more comfortable with who I am. I am Me and if you don’t like it... you are the one missing out. 😉😉. This Blockchain has also provided a space where I can share and show people how to do things themselves. A way for people can save money and learn a thing or two about how to be more self sustainable.

Then there is the A Day With A Lineman series that I do to show people what it takes to keep the electricity flowing and the lights glowin’. These are rather tough for me to do most of the time. I honestly don’t have a lot of time to be taking photos and video or whatever. When I’m workin... I’m workin’

I had no idea when @idig and I came up with @foodfightfriday that is would be still running today. We just hit 58 weeks of Food Flingin’ fun this last week. With no big sponsorships what-so-ever, we just keep chugging along. With @dandays behind the contender post, @idig handling the upvotes and resteems and me, taking care of the winner post, contender and vote acknowledgement replies. I do have to say we make a pretty good team. Giving away a Beer token to each contender and 3 Steem Basic Income Shares to the Winner each week we just...

Understanding all the INS and OUTS of Steem can be a bit overwhelming to say the least. Now you add in Steem-Engine token earnings and it just adds another layer. I feel for mass adoption things need to be simplified, but then again what are we aiming for.. Fartbook??
