My Hive Goals for 2024 Week #14

I have decided to start posting a weekly update on my progress toward my 2024 goals here on Hive. It helps me stay on track and I can realize if I am behind on a goal at any point in time. We are starting the 4th month of the year so one quarter of the year is up already. If I need to towards the end, I'll push whatever is behind then. However, I am wondering just how much I need to purchase if things continue the way it is now.

Progress

Above are statistics that I have gotten from HiveStats. This week is looking a bit better than last week but I still think that I am doing quite well on my own goals so far. Progress is progress as it all adds up over time.

HP

I got slightly less than last week with 57 HP earned throughout the week. I am checking this through the difference between the two endpoints on the graph on Hivestats. My author rewards and curation rewards are up compared to last week. I am unsure why the endpoints are lower despite both numbers being up but I won't complain if I have made more progress. I think I am doing fine though as I am doing a decent job of using up my voting power but there were a few days where I wasn't able to use up all my voting power. It's just a slow process of earning HP through consistent activity. There may have been a few days where my voting power was full but I don't think it happened that often.

HBD

I gained 18 HBD last week and I deposited all of that into my Savings this week. It's more than last week so that is good news at least. The HBD is starting to stack up quite a bit.

LEO Power

I am not sure how much LEO I earned because I was cleaning up my CUB wallet and unwrapped some LEO. With the influx of LEO, I should be set for my goal this year but I am not sure if I want to power it up all right away or save some for next year's goals. I still need a little more information before I figure out the form properly. Once that is set, I will be done with the BSC part. My VexPolyCUB is still locked so I need to start a ticket for that later. I don't have any LEO or normal PolyCUB so I don't have to worry about that for for Polygon.

Conclusion

My progress is looking fine so far. Both HBD and LEO power are ahead of where I need to be right now. The HBD goal is looking quite good. I am barely at 25% so I am definitely behind in terms of my HP goal. Both LEO and HBD are ahead so I am not worried. With the LEO that I removed from CUB, I should be able to get my goal without any issues so I will probably do a larger powerup on LPUD. My HBD goal is far ahead so that extra HBD at the end of the year can go towards HP.

I heard that those who owned or held cub was gifted some Leo in compensation for the loss and all that. Is that true? HBD addition to savings is always worth it.

If you burn your CUB then you get equivalent LEO back. So its a way out for those of us still in CUB.

One of my major goals for Hive in 2024 is to create a curation account. I’m still very much busy but I’d do it before the end of the year

Good luck. I don't really bother with curation accounts but it can be helpful to split things up if you can handle it.
