My Hive Goals for 2024 Week #1 - First report of the year

I have decided to start posting a weekly update on my progress toward my 2024 goals here on Hive. It helps me stay on track and I can realize if I am behind on a goal at any point in time. It's the start of a new year and I am going to see how well I have done since I set my goals last week. It's similar to last year but I do have plans to make sure the same HBD issues don't happen as last time. Building more of a buffer will be more important.

Progress

Above are statistics that I have gotten from HiveStats. This week is looking pretty good so far. I'll be checking from next week onwards to see how things go on. At least my curation is going decent lately because I have been making sure to use enough of it so it doesn't overfill.

HP

I got about more than last week with 57 HP earned throughout the week. I am checking this through the difference between the two endpoints on the graph on Hivestats. My curation and author rewards are looking quite decent so far. I am hoping to keep this up during the next few weeks.

HBD

I gained 23 HBD last week and I deposited that into my Savings this week. This is a pretty good result for the first week. I'll see how things go but I hope this keeps up. There seems to be about 2 weeks or so until my interest comes in and there is a lot of leeway for this goal. If I am behind, I plan on using my HBD after for LEO or HP goal. I am also thinking of getting LEO subscription together with being more active with threads.

LEO Power

I am not sure how much LEO I earned last week, but I do have some extra LEO for my goals from last year. It does look like I will have a pretty decent first power-up during LPUD next week. I still need to get around to threads again because it's a good place to earn LEO.

Conclusion

It's the first week of the year and my goals are looking good so far. My HBD made some decent progress and my HP progress is also doing quite well. I have a decent amount of LEO for the first LPUD so I will be able to make some decent progress. I think the ad buyback should also start up soon as well. So that LEO goal might be closer than it seems. Either way, I think these goals are manageable and if HBD goes well, I will have a backup plan for HP or LEO later in the year. If I don't need them then, I will invest in improving my Splinterlands deck.
