Lunch at Ikea
It was our first time visiting an Ikea store and I was so excited that I even put on my best outfit to explore the place. I know people rave about Ikea's beautiful and aesthetic home furniture, but we also want to try their Swedish restaurant. We went there during their opening hours and decided to have brunch to have the energy for shopping. Since I watched and read a lot about their restaurant, we tried most of their recommended dishes. I like the idea of just standing in line and getting the food I want. My husband wanted to try their Spaghetti Pomodoro and I wanted to try their Meatballs. We also had salmon for salad and mushroom soup. We also ordered chicken wings and tried their steamed pork belly. I didn't imagine we would be able to finish our food, but amazingly we did! Maybe it's because we didn't have breakfast. Some might say their meatballs were overly hyped, but for me, it's something you should try. It's soft and very juicy and I love it. Their food portions are huge and the price is really affordable. We didn't try their cakes, although I heard a lot of positive comments about them, but we were so full, maybe next time, because we will definitely be back.
What I like about our Ikea dining experience is that you don’t have to ask at the food counter for condiments or cutleries because they have an area for that. They have unlimited brewed coffee and Nordic drinks at such an affordable price. Since it is a self-service restaurant, people are allowed to sit in the free seats without waiting for someone to clean it. They have a lounge area where you can charge your phones while waiting for your seats.
Overall, we love our dining experience and will definitely recommend it to our friends and family who are planning to visit Ikea.
