Getting people to know about your product online

It's important to do research on the competition to understand the unique features you can offer. By understanding what your customers need and want, you'll be able to create a product that provides them with the best possible benefits. This will help you stand out from the competition and attract more customers.

I want to digress briefly.

In spite of my nervousness, my first day at school was pleasant. I was expecting to get lost during the lecture, but surprisingly, I didn't, and I enjoyed it. I made some new friends that day, and I was excited to meet them again the next day. I was happy that I adjusted to the new environment quickly. As it stands, I am looking forward to attending lectures next week.

Currently, I am studying business administration, and from my O'level results, my qualifications for studying this course were Mathematics, English, economics, civic education and data processing, because I wasn't a student of art in secondary school; I was a student of science.

BAM 115, also known as marketing, will be among the courses I will be studying this semester. The topic we are currently treating is Product and from what the lecturer said, it may be the only topic we will treat this semester.

I found the topic 'Product' interesting, and that's why I want to write about it. I have already read some materials about it, and I am even more excited to learn more about it. I am confident that I will be able to apply the knowledge I will gain from this course to real-life situations. I am looking forward to the learning journey.

Does Marketing and finance work together?

Yes, marketing and finance do work together. For example, marketing departments need funds to develop campaigns, and finance departments need marketing teams to reach potential customers and increase sales. Additionally, the two departments must collaborate to ensure that campaigns are within budget and that the financial goals of the company are met.

A while ago, I read the post of someone I know on facebook. He is a vocal coach who invests in ads to get interested people to pay for his vocal training session. His post was very effective in attracting people online, as he got numerous responses from people wanting to learn from him. He has been able to use the power of social media to boost his business and reach more people. I am one of the numerous people who joined his vocal training group through his ad.

At the beginning of this post, I briefly wrote a few things about products. Now let's delve deeper into the concept of product and how it can help business owners become successful.

What is a product?

Product is a term that refers to the goods and services produced by a company. It is the tangible or intangible output of a business and can be divided into categories such as consumer products, industrial products, and services. Companies use product strategies to differentiate themselves in the marketplace, increase customer loyalty, and capture more market share.

Product strategies involve developing and implementing plans to market a product to the target audience. Companies create product positioning statements that identify the product's unique features, benefits, and values in order to stand out from the competition. Additionally, companies use pricing strategies to ensure their products are priced competitively in the marketplace.

Now, let go back to this vocal coach I was discussing earlier.

According to him, he has come online many times saying, "I will teach 450 singers tonight", "I will teach 700 members tonight". A few nights ago, he said he was starting a 2-day class with 1,023 singers.

Also, he explained that what he doesn't share with the public is that he spends a lot of money gathering them in the group.

He said he spent about 50k to reach the 1,023 singers in that group a few nights ago. He also said that he has heard some people say he exaggerates his figures. However, he said he doesn't blame those who do because they don't know what social media marketing is all about.

There is no doubt that he has a product. Anything that you can offer that benefits or adds value to another person is a product, and you earn it when you offer it to anyone.

The interesting thing is that he doesn't just have this product, he has also learned how to market the product to targeted audiences. Facebook Ads, in his opinion, are the most effective way to market a product, as millions of people can be reached by it from anywhere in the world.

The man said that even though he has not left the place where he lives, he has reached millions of people all over Nigeria and the world, and some of these interactions have resulted in him earning money.

Having a product alone isn't enough if you have no marketing budget.

Without a marketing budget, it is impossible to reach potential customers and let them know about the product. Even if you have created a great product, if no one knows about it, then no one will buy it.

There is no way you can run a business without having some funds set aside for marketing. Moreover, marketing is an ongoing process that requires resources. You need to constantly be researching your target audience and adapting your strategy in order to remain competitive. Without a marketing budget, it is impossible to do this effectively.

How do you create a marketing budget?

Finally, he mentioned something profound. Most of what he does, he doesn't do it like an expert. He sticks to the basics and stays consistent at them while learning and tweaking as he progresses.
