How do you overcome FAILURE!! .

When you fail at something what do you do to cleanse the negativity away? How long do you dwell on the loss, grieve it, and let go? I think this is different for everybody. I believe that it is also a learned behavior. As you conquer failure again and again and again you teach yourself how to work through it and move on. To regroup and start again.
How do you process your failures? Please leave a comment and tell me what works for you!

Unfortunately, i’m a dweller so I try to quickly spin it in a postive direction then move on to the next task. It has to be worked on, for sure, especially for those who are obsessive-compulsive.

I hear what you're saying! I tend to hold onto a lot of guilt about the failure. I will re-work it in my mind to see a different outcome if I had chosen another action to begin with. Sometimes that helps me to change directions and salvage the original mistake.

I tend to dwell on failures. Working on that but it is always a work in progress with me. Hard not to keep kicking myself in the rear for things I wish I had not done or those that didn't go well.

I hear what you are saying! I try NOT to dwell on things, but I often do. I've tried to learn through my faith that even though the outcome may not always be what I want, that perhaps, that may be the path that I am supposed to take... Maybe sometimes begrudgingly.. but.. :)

Thanks for sharing Jenna, for me I am a problem solver and if something does not go my way I get even more determined to find a positive solution, not dwelling on it but working on it, though it can be great to go to sleep since I often solve problems there too, stay awesome.

Right on!! I would love to hear about some of your dream problem solving. There is such a wide range of beliefs about dreams and their meanings. I kept a dream journal for a long time right after college. I was writing a lot, but was not able to remember my dreams for longer than a few minutes. I would say, "I will remember my dreams, I will remember my dreams." before I drifted off and then when I woke and remembered what I had been dreaming about I would write it down in the journal. I was able to morph a lot of my dream sequences into short stories.

Thanks Jenna, yeah I never kept one of those, but I have found that when I get to sleep it makes me more relaxed and I can make connections between things that I would otherwise not think of, by the way I just made a video about using failure as a stepping stone to success, stay awesome.
