Bringing Back The Weekly Vlog - #IAmAliveChallenge - Day 72 - #HiveIsAlive

So, it's kind of weird to announce the first vlog on Day 72 of a vlog, but hear me out.

The initial idea of the #IAmAliveChallenge for me was to create daily videos again. However, I knew that a complete daily vlog would talk it's toll on me, and I decided a different approach was needed.

The initial model was as followed:

  • Film short 15 second clips
  • Upload those clips as Instagram Stories
  • Upload the resized files to a drive and do a final edit on my laptop
  • Upload the final version as my daily #IAmAliveChallenge video on @threespeak
  • Create a storyline over the week and make a YouTube vlog of the last 7 #IAmAliveChallenge videos
  • Make Hive or 3Speak the 'sponsor' of my weekly vlogs, as my Hive rewards kind of feel that I'm already getting paid to make the vlogs.

I still feel like I should do something similar and as I'm getting closer to Day 100 of the #IAmAliveChallenge, this will motivate me to continue until I reach my 100th video on 3Speak. It'll also allow me to reactivate my YouTube channel and promote Hive om my mainstream Social Media channels.

Weekly vlogs are great! I remember I shifted my format as well awhile back.

After completing #2020Vision, I jumped into the IAAC. To this day, I love that the motivation behind it & it felt like an extension of the 2020vision initiative - the same feel, which delighted me. It was taken to higher levels as well so of course I was onboard for it...

However, I started getting stagnant & also switched it up. I decided to go on my own path & create different types of vlogs since then. Even though I don't label it as IAAC anymore, it's still in the same spirit as that. Mindful Mondays was born as well as my other content I tend to mix up a lot....

So, it is great to see you make this more your own! Sometimes, I see others doing the same exact format & they don't branch out...I think this challenge is meant to have the participants grow & thrive in their own way, not stay in the same format forever...

I think most people are afraid to let go of the format because it might mean they fall out of the spotlight and there content will be viewed less.

I also think we've both moved passed that stage and it kind of sets you free.

The problem for me is, if I skip a day or two, I risk stopping completely. And then it's... see you in January! again 😂.

Also, I tried scripting and it just doesn't seem to work for me. So, I'm constantly trying to reinvent until I found something that works. Which can take awhile. But, I no longer force the issue. If I miss a day, I miss a day. As long as episode IAAC Episode 100 airs before December 31st. Preferably in November. Which will be fun in combination with what @traciyork has in store for us.

You are very welcome! Always here to support you & yes, I agree...sometimes you almost have to let go of being viewed as much for awhile to reinvent yourself & stay in your joy. We have grown a lot the short we have been on the blockchain & as we keep evolving, so will our content...

And yes, I admit I can't skip more than 2 days of content or I risk getting lazy ha ha. I also fluctuate in different energy levels, due to health issues as well so going with the flow is usually the best way to go....

And YES I am excited for the future...@traciyork & a few of us (as you may know) have some fun stuff coming soon....so really looking forward to a new chapter ;)

Wow... I feel flattered, but no, rivaling the Adobe conference. Little bit out of my league at the moment 😂

That film was a bit creepy. It won't go that far, but there are definitely some elements of truth to it. Also the reason why the social dilemma is so popular right now.
