Concierto Navideño

Hello beautiful people of @liketu, today I finished telling you about my experience at the Christmas concert this year, I had published other things, but I forgot to do this post, I will share this post with my students.

As I said before, in the pre-show room, we went into the dressing room and practiced there. We were in the fifth position of the list of the presentations, when the first lecture started (Musical Kindergarten) we had to stop practicing because if we made noise it would be heard, then, patiently, we had to wait our turn.

Hola gente linda de @liketu, hoy les terminé de contar sobre mi experiencia en el concierto de navidad de este año, había publicado otras cosas, pero este post se me había olvidado hacerlo, este post se lo compartiré a mis alumnos.

Como anteriormente dije, en la antesala del concierto, entramos a los camerinos y allí practicamos. Estábamos en la quinta posición de la lista de las presentaciones, cuando comenzó la primera cátedra (Kinder musical) tuvimos que dejar de practicar porque si hacíamos ruido se iba a escuchar, entonces, pacientemente, tuvimos que esperar nuestro turno.

In the dressing room bathroom there were girls getting ready and young men taking pictures. Also other restless children from other chairs were making noise and running around in the dressing rooms. I must admit that my children did behave very well.

Then the recorder, clarinet and folk dance children played.

It was our turn, unfortunately they didn't have a microphone, but it still sounded great. We played the pieces: "Niño Lindo", "Cantemos, cantemos" and "Faltan 5 pa' las doce". There were 4 girls who sang all the songs while playing their instrument (the Venezuelan cuatro). They made the concert beautiful because of their voices.

En el baño de los camerinos se veían niñas arreglándose y jóvenes tomándose fotos. También otros niños inquietos de otras cátedras haciendo ruido y corriendo en los camerinos. Debo admitir que mis niños sí se portaron muy bien.

Luego tocaron los de flauta dulce, los de clarinete y los de danza folklórica.

Nos tocó nuestro turno, lamentablemente no colocaron micrófono, pero aún así sonó genial. Tocamos las piezas: "Niño Lindo", "Cantemos, cantemos" y "Faltan 5 pa' las doce". Estaban 4 niñas que cantaron todas las canciones mientras tocaban su instrumento (el cuatro venezolano). Ellas hicieron que el concierto quedara hermoso por las voces de ellas.

After that, we went out, and some left immediately, when I went out, well I went to get my liner and everything that some representatives were carrying, then from there I went straight to the cafe to buy me some plantain chips (tostones) because I went out with a horrible hunger 😆.

As I walked, on my way home, I ate the chips, and then drank what little water I had left. The concert turned out beautifully and it was all thanks to the kids, who did their best to practice and thanks to the representatives who were there during these months supporting the kids. I really loved the concert, my children did a great job.

And without more to say, I say goodbye and I hope to come back soon, I love you very much 🫶🏻❤️

Luego de eso, salimos, y algunos se fueron inmediatamente, cuando salí, pues me dirigí a buscar mi forro y todo lo que me cargaban unas representantes, luego de allí me dirigí directamente al cafetín a comprarme unos chips de plátano (tostones) porque salí con un hambre horrible 😆.

Mientras caminaba, camino a mi casa, me comía los chips, y luego me bebí la poca agua que me quedaba. El concierto salió muy bonito y todo fue gracias a los niños, que se esmeraron a practicar y gracias a los representantes que estuvieron durante estos meses apoyando a los niños. Realmente me encantó el concierto, mis niños se lucieron.

Y sin más que decir, me despido y espero volver pronto, los quiero mucho 🫶🏻❤️
