Let's cook together - Yummylicious Paneer Bhurji 🤤

Hi All, how are you. Hope you are happy and healthy and spending your day well.

Today I want to share the recipe of Paneer Bhurji (Scrambled Indian Cottage Cheese), an Indian dalicacy which includes the sweetness of paneer, tangyness of tomatoes and flavours of different spices. It goes best as a side dish with paratha and naan. It takes only 10 minutes for preparation and 15 minutes to cook.

For Paneer Bhurji we need

• Paneer : 350 Gms
• Oil / Ghee (Clarified Butter) : 2 Table Spoon
• Tomatoes : 3 Nos
• Onion : 2 Nos
• Ginger : 1 Small Piece
• Garlic : 10-11 Cloves
• Butter : 1 Cube
• Gram Floor : 2 Tablespoon
• Fresh Coriender Leaves : For Garnishing

Dried Spices :

• Turmeric Powder : ½ Teaspoon
• Red Chili Powder : 1 Teaspoon
• Coriander Powder : ½ Teaspoon
• Cumin Powder : ¼ Teaspoon
• Garam Masala : ½ Teaspoon
• Dry Fenugreek Leaves : As Require
• Salt : As per the taste

Preparation

Wash tomatoes, peel onions and cut into small pieces. Make ginger garlic paste. Grate the paneer with the help of a grater. Dry roast the gram floor in a pan and keep aside.

Let's start the recipe

Heat the pan and put oil / ghee. When the oil is hot, add some cumin seeds.

When cumin seeds turns brown and aromatic add chopped onion and fry it until turns translucent.

Add ginger garlic paste and fry it well so that raw aroma goes and it turns light brown in colour.

Once it turns light brown in colour, add chopped tomatoes and stir it well.

Add salt and turmeric powder and mix it once.

Add coriander powder, cumin power and garam masala powder. I will add chili powder later after taking out some portion for my toddler. You can add chili powder also now along with other spices.

Then add roasted gram floor and mix it well. Roasted gram floor will give nice consistency and taste.

Add some water to adjust the consistency.

Now add grated paneer into batches in the mixture of onions, tomatoes and roasted gram floor. Mix everything nicely and let it cook for 5 minutes on medium flame.

Add some dry fenugreek leaves after crushing it in your palms.

Lastly when the paneer Bhurji is ready add one cube of butter and fresh coriander into this.

Serve hot with paratha and sliced onions.
