Cela ne fait pas plaisir
Ceux qui me connaissent savent que comme @yann0975, la planète et sa durabilité me tiennent à cœur.
Donc, quand pour la première fois de ma vie, l'overshoot day tombe le jour de mon anniversaire, ça me touche, ça pique !

Et le pire, c'est que l'année prochaine, les probabilités sont claires, l'overshoot day aura lieu AVANT mon anniversaire...
J'en parle chaque année de ce jour, car il montre qu'en dépit de ce qu'on dit aux journaux, et même si les calculs de cet overshoot day sont parfois décriés, la planète continue de brûler...
Je ne suis pas pour revenir au temps médiévaux, qui, avouons-le, n'étaient pas aussi confortables que notre époque, mais bien pour une conscientisation globale, et on en est encore loin.
Le capitalisme reste encore et toujours le moteur principal alors qu'il est mortifère à tous niveaux:
- Il freine la collaboration en préférant la concurrence.
- Il favorise la production de déchets par la surconsommation
- Il favorise la pollution par l'usage de matériaux moins chers et bien moins compatible à la vie...
- Il favorise la détérioration de l'air, en faisant promener les ressources de par le monde pour gagner quelques euros au passage...
Et la liste est vraiment loin d'être exhaustive.
Et tout cela, un 23 mars, j'aurais préféré n'avoir à ne me soucier que de mon anniversaire !!!
Alors pourvu que les gens entendent cette fois, qu'ils prennent conscience, et se rappellent qu'une solution est proposée depuis belles lurettes, notamment par Jacque Fresco, entre autres, mais aussi par votre serviteur ...
On peut le faire ! C'est une question de volonté commune.

ne t'inquiète pas trop pour la planète, elle était là avant nous (les humains) et elle sera encore là quand nous aurons disparu.
L'overshoot et autres pseudo inquiétudes sur le changement climatique ne sont que des visions anthropocentrées. L'humanité est sur le déclin, emportée par sa folie exponentielle.
L'homme reste un animal qui fait semblant de ne pas en être un, mais le naturel le rattrape toujours.

Certes mais le problème c'est le règne du vivant dans son entier que nous détruisons, et si on regarde bien, c'est une phénomène tellement rare, la vie, qu'il en devient vraiment précieux, non ? :)

Je crois hélas qui si l'humanité n'avait d'autre choix pour sa survie que d'éliminer toutes les autres créatures vivantes, elle n'hésiterait pas.
De même pour notre planète, si la seule chance de survie pour l'homme était de la détruire, par exemple pour obtenir l'énergie suffisante afin d'aller en coloniser une autre quand nous aurons épuisé les ressources de la terre.
Mais en effet on pourrait éviter d'en arriver là.
