I got 29 Hive for free through coinbase earn
The coinbase earn program is an awesome way to get some free crypto, that you could convert to hive and use to increase your hive power.
I just did that with the CELO tokens I got for free. I got 6 usd worth of Celo. Converted that to dash, sent that to ionomy, where I converted it to bitcoin and then to hive.
I lost about 1 dollar in the conversions, but he it is free hive! Who doesn’t like that.

I don’t remember, I’ve been with the earn program from before it was bought by coinbase. I think my initial registration took a couple days.
But then I was on waiting list for several of the coins for a week, sometimes a bit more I think.
I was also already signed up to coinbase before they added the earn program, so maybe things have changed.

Awesome dude. I just got the email the other day for it! I’m sitting on some of these newer coins for a bit. One of the ones I got a few months ago had gone up in value by 2.5x so I’m hoping if we get even a mediocre bull run I can swap them for another token.
If you’re on Coinbase why not convert it to litecoin and send it to hive via Blocktrades? That’s what I do! I don’t know what the fees are since I haven’t done it in a while but I’ll try that soon!

This is so cool! I keep saying I'm gonna do those courses to earn some different crypto's but I never take the time. Plus I didn't know that they added Hive to the list. I gotta do this. Thanks for the info.
Well hive is not on the list, I converted Celo into dash and then dash into btc and then that into hive.
If you have signed up with coinbase earn, then you should absolutely make that a priority. It takes only a few minutes. Also after a while there is a limited amount of tokens available.
