Privacy is more important than freedom of Speech
We are humans and it's our right to freedom of speech. Without it, it's really hard for us to state our opinion in any kind of situation. Another one is the right to privacy. It is such kind of thing which keeps our personal life, personal information, and activities safe. Without it, it's really impossible to keep anything private with others. In fact, there will be no personal life. Both freedom of speech and right to privacy are important and it's really hard to decide which one is more needed.

If I need to choose only one between two of them and after choosing one I need to lose the remaining one, then I will choose the right to privacy. You must be wondering why I didn't choose freedom of speech. I think it depends on the personality of a person who chooses which one between the two. So before knowing the reason you need to know about my personality a little bit.
I am a simple person and try to keep things simple for me. I talk less and I talk only when it's necessary because I feel I should not waste my energy for meaningless talk. I raise my voice when it's important and logical otherwise not. There exists another reason because of why I talk less and the reason is I love to keep secrets and I am good at it. When someone talks more there also exists a huge possibility of revealing some secrets and in my case, I don't want it. I can lose the freedom of speech for the sake of my privacy when it's needed and it matches well with my personality.
Privacy is not just a little word. The meaning of it matters a lot. In the matter of financial things privacy is must otherwise people will loot the assets. The talking and activities between husband and wife need privacy otherwise an embarrassing situation is unavoidable. The secret between soldiers is very important and if there exists no privacy then, a country may face the negative consequences of it.
I am the one who loves secrets means privacy matters a lot to me. No privacy means no secrets and it's not go with my personality. It's better to keep financial issues private. But if I lose privacy everyone will know about it and there exist huge possibilities to lose my money by robbery or in other ways. Who wants to lose their own money? At least I won't want. Hive can be the best example of privacy also. If for any kind of reason, my private key is revealed then I will lose my asset for sure.
Tomorrow or later I will get married and obviously all the activities between me and my wife will not be a public show to entertain others. In that case, I need privacy and I can't allow anyone to know about all the activities.
In this digital world information is called the most valuable thing and all the information is not for share. Some information can be sensitive and some information can be life-threatening. I can lose my life if such kind of information doesn't remain private.
Don't you still think privacy is more important the freedom of speech? I think I stated all the point which is in my mind.

Well digital information is already in hands of most of the companies 😹 not talking about bank password etc but vital information about you! Last week a scammer used my identity to try to steal from my parents… a facebook profile picture, some other personal info like location etc … and almost got it luckly my parents called me lol
Thankfully, they were able to contact you. If, for any reason, they weren't they might be scammed
OMG. I think you were lucky otherwise your parents become a victim of the scammer.
I think our data as well as information is the most valuable thing and other companies like Facebook collect our data and sell it. They are earning from it but it is an alarming thing for our security aspects.
Privacy is good and I like your response as your points are valid. Personally I prefer freedom of expression because is this digital era nothing is so much hidden.

Privacy should never be underrated. Many of us will never really know the importance of privacy until we lose it. But in the end, it all depends on what we're willing to endure.

Privacy should be the first priority of anyone in my opinion. It's very important I think many people don't think about privacy widely and that's the reason they can't understand the importance of it and they can understand if privacy is taken for them.
Whatever it's depends on thoughts and it can be different when anyone sees it from a different perspective and I respect their opinion also because freedom of speech is also for us.

It's really an interesting point, I believe it's like you said, if we had to make the choice, it comes from each person, giving everything of ourselves out in the open for other people to see could certainly be a big problem, after all, being exposed in this way would be a danger for everyone. . Yes. It's important but at the same time we can't ignore the importance of freedom of speech. I just said it based on calculation and prediction but in real life none of it can be ignored.

Privacy is crucial for a healthy mental, emotional and physical life. We, the people living in joint family system, understand the worth of privacy so much. We know what it means to be invaded by others. Like you are going out of the home and there are many eyes judging your actions. They also preserve the right to ask you where are you going, and all the w-h attached to it. That's frustrating.
Indeed privacy is very important and those people can understand it very well who suffer for it. I think very few can understand the true value of privacy.

There exist many things in life which should remain private and that is the reason the word personal comes. If there exists no privacy then there will be no personal and everything will be public. And I know nobody wants it.
I wouldn't have said it better myself, I also love my privacy more than freedom of speech. There are secret that nobody except myself knows and there are secrets I and my husband have. These secrets are behind close doors and are safe. I and my husband are also very quiet people, were are humans of very few words, which actually keeps us out of troubles and sleep the tongue.
