Learning things can never be waste

Learning is a process which never ends. The process starts when we come to this beautiful world, and learning ends with our death. So it's very natural to learn something new at each stage of our life. Learning can be intentional, but it can also be unintentional because, in many cases, we keep learning something of which we remain unaware until we realize it later.

It's not necessary to be useful all the things in just after learning. Some may help us instantly, and some may be helpful long term and take time to get the benefit of learning. Studying or receiving education is one of the best examples. We start to receive education in our childhood, but we receive the output of education approximately after the academic career. Like that, I started learning one significant thing, which is helping me in my adulthood.

Since my childhood, I have noticed that my mother used to keep writing all the financial calculations in a diary. In that diary, she wrote a calculation of the cost, the money borrowed from others, and the money given to others. I asked my mother why it was necessary. My mother told me that it's very important because we naturally forget many things with time. Moreover, it helps to keep track of our financial situation. So it's necessary, even if we have a lot of money. She also advised me to start practicing the same thing.

After the next day I also started to instruction of my mother. I started to write everything related to my savings and costs in my diary. It was a very interesting thing for me, and that helped me to track my financial condition, even if at that time it was not necessary for me. I had nothing special in the case of finances, but that thing was the start of practicing it or growing the habit useful for me in the childhood time.

Now I have grown up and I am mature enough to understand this. I realized that if I don't like my finances, I will end up being broke at some point in my life. I have seen men of my friends who don't share about this kind of thing because they believe it has no impact. They naturally spend their money recklessly. I advised them of my strategy, but they think it's a waste of time, so I stopped suggesting it to them.

As I learned about it from my earlier age, it helped me correctly to understand how much cost I need to spend in each month and how to separate the finance from other kinds of money. In case of setting a monthly budget, it's very much helpful to me, and even in this difficult time, in the time of inflation, I can think about savings, which is beneficial for my future. Overall, in my financial cases that thing creates a good impact all the time.

Learning is always useful, can never be a waste, and can be anything. My learning may help me today; otherwise, it will help me in the future. That's why it's said to never stop learning. I know many people may not agree with it but I recommend you yo try it. Learned the thing as a child but very beneficial in my adulthood.

Absolutely, yes, and besides, there's another important thing to learn, and that's how to learn.

Normally, this is something we learn at school. The problem with school is that we're often offered only one way of learning. Some people will manage to assimilate things using certain methods provided by teachers, whereas others function differently.

When I was a kid, teachers often worked like this:

  • They'd give us a lecture on the new concepts we needed to understand;
  • They give us exercises to evaluate us.

But I never managed to learn that way.

It wasn't until I finished my studies that one of my teachers told me about reverse pedagogy:

  • He gives us a problem to solve and we try to solve it. Of course, we're missing an important notion to understand the problem, but we try to solve it all the same.
  • Then we have a lesson to understand the new notion.
  • Then we repeat the exercise, knowing the new notion.

Well, I think that's my most effective way of learning. But I also know that many people in my class didn't like learning this way and were pulling their hair out.

You really learned something good from your mum, learning how to spend wisely and also taking down notes of your finances it's something I find cool, it enables you to keep track of your money and how you're spending it.
