What Makes INLEO Stand Out.png


It's almost two years since I joined the Lion's Den (INLEO). Heard about Project Blank then and even wrote about it. Was here when Threads was first released as a test feature on the previous UI in the first week of August 2022. Oh boy, I it then even when it was often buggy. Being able to microblog was a breath of fresh air - a cool change, especially when most of Hive kind of prefers long-form content.

We have read and heard about LeoAds revenue, the plans for LeoLegends (upgradable NFTs in the Leoverse), etc. I would say we have at least witnessed and experienced how this project and community evolved or transformed over the last 20 months or so.

And we even had the chance to use the Leo Mobile app. It was quite convenient, especially when one was on the go. Good to remember those days, huh!

The Project Blank was unveiled as LeoFinance itself and it prompted the launching of the Alpha UI early last year and then the surprising twist of rebranding, which I honestly didn't see coming but a great move nonetheless. It was nice that it opened up as a full UI with the inclusion of community pages where anyone can post, as opposed to what it used to be.

And then the LeoAd revenue sharing finally became a reality when it started paying out last month. So much has happened that I may have missed mentioning many things but they all made my INLEO experience unique and better. Threads is my favorite and it's where I'm mostly found when I don't have any real-life engagements.

What else makes INLEO stand out for me?

I might be a bit biased on these because there is no one else to compare it with since I am solely using the frontend for all my major activities here on-chain but let me just share about them anyway:

  • LEO/Hive whales are very much present and involved in the community.

    Seeing Hive and Leo OGs like TM, Onealfa, Khal, and others showing up and engaging with us gives a good impression. I have mentioned this previously and it's one of the reasons why I was drawn to this community in the first place, apart from the desire to learn more.

    In addition, we can also see users who are driven to thrive in the community and help make it grow too.

  • INLEO as a source of information.

    Crypto and related stuff, new technology, and most times, it's where I get to read what's happening in the market, etc.

  • LeoPremium, its perks and features

    I particularly like the convenience of editing my threads after they have been posted, the ability to create longer ones, being able to embed videos (i.e. music), and of course, all the other perks that come with it. I'm so looking forward to LeoAI!

  • LeoAd Revenue & Evergreen Rewards

    This allows us to share from the ad revenues in the form of staked LEO based on one's Leo Power and also the chance to monetize our content beyond the 7-day payout window.

  • Tiered delegation rewards

    This came out recently but it's a good way to grow one's LEO stakes by delegating HP to leo.voter and we can also opt to get additional APRs.

For me, these are some of the most notable reasons why INLEO stands out as my home UI. I don't know about you but being here makes me feel I'm thriving in some way.

Yes, there is still work that needs to be done (fixes, tweaks, more features, etc) to make the user experience better and more flawless, but we do see that things are improving over time. It is exciting to think about what else is coming in the next months or years. It would be awesome if we get to see it become the everything app it aims to be.

Hehe. I also written a post for it and I also tried to show the uniqueness of InLeo. I need to give a finishing touch and I will do it after completing my study. If you wanna read, then you need to wait for it😅 . Infact I mentioned your name in my post. Can you guess why?

So much of uniqueness that INLEO possessed which to me will be one of the key reasons hive will stand out among it's counterpart in the future

I think another thing that makes it stand out is the fact that they always make sure to bring up updates all of the time
They are always wanting to introduce something new

That's very true. There are many things (features) in its short-term roadmaps, especially when it comes to improving the UI.

Inleo is great and agree with all the reasons you shared. Its good to read people sharing their reasons for what makes Inleo unique.
