There's a UFO! Turtle I Mean

avatar
(Edited)

The husband went out of the house saying he was going to the neighborhood and that he would be back home before it got dark. A few minutes later, we heard footsteps coming, then suddenly the door sprang open. "Come quickly, there's a UFO!" he was catching his breath.

Curious as to what he was referring to, I grabbed Anyeong and rushed out to the yard only to find him taking photos of the sky. Beautiful... That's the very first sunset we get to see these recent days. "So where's the UFO?" I asked as we stood out there to enjoy the sight.

"A turtle I mean. Don't you see that?" he said matter-factly, his eyes still fixated on the sight from afar. Hmmm... okay, no argument there. It's what he saw and who am I to discredit his eyes? LOL! So we stayed quiet, mesmerized by the 'turtle'... errr... the view.

Well, except that our little guy didn't know what we were looking at and all he wanted was to run around. We didn't let him do it though because it would mean his fur would be sweeping most of the dirt on the ground and he just had a bath hours before.

That reminded me of the first week when we just brought him home and I bathed him daily. It wasn't until we went to the vet that she advised us not to give him a bath for at least 7 days because he just got his vaccine.

My bad... but I just loved how he smelled after each trip from the shower.

Anyhow, back to the sky, the colors slowly changed and got a lot warmer as the moments passed by. When it started to get dark, the 'turtle' was no more.

The husband ended up not going to the neighbors and took these photos instead, which of course I'm so thankful about and now sharing here today.

It was one of those evenings where we appreciate the wonders of nature and say our silent thanksgiving for everything we get to see and enjoy for free from the comforts of our home.

Meanwhile, it's a fabulous Friday up here. Quiet one at most, except for the occasional chirping of birds and the slow whizzing sounds of the wind. Looks like we are going to have another lovely afternoon outdoors.

Aw, that's gorgeous. I can imagine the togetherness. It did make me laugh, your husband's enthusiasm and the changing cloud shapes. So cute. You guys are clearly close.

Nature is beautiful and the beauty of nature is the thing which never give us more feeling anytime and each time nature present in front of first like its new. One saying that it's UFO and another one saying it's a turtle 🤣🤣. It's not fair. By the way it's turtle in my eyes also🤣.

That's true, Inti. Sometimes we neglect to appreciate them especially when we are busy with things.

Haha, it's the farmboy saying UFO at first and then changing to a turtle, haha. It's good you saw it too :)

What a delightful story! Your husband's observation of a "turtle" in the sky turning out to be a beautiful sunset is such a charming and humorous twist. The shared moment of appreciating the natural beauty, even with the playful interruption from Anyeong, adds a touch of warmth to the experience.

The images captured by your husband are indeed stunning, showcasing the changing colors of the sky as the sun sets. It's moments like these that make us pause and appreciate the wonders that surround us.

Thank you for sharing this lovely and lighthearted story. It's a reminder to find joy in the simple and unexpected moments of life. Enjoy your fabulous Friday and the beautiful afternoons outdoors! 🌅🐢📸

Those are pretty shot, ganda na sa eyes, and ganda pa nila sa mind coz looking at it can make us feel happy talaga. Anyways, I remember those video clips na napanood ko before about doggos na kakaligo lang, need na naman maligo coz their naught babies just swim on a dirt again. And their white fur turns into dirt na talaga hahaha. For sure your boy has a plan to do that, only you didn't let him (≧▽≦)

At first glance, I thought it's just a lovely random cloud formation. Looking longer, I agree it looks more of a turtle than UFO. Lol

Sorry to hear. I know a few people who are using Keychain browser who are experiencing the same. But I see you are using Hivesigner. Have you used it before and it worked? You can make a thread and add the hashtag #feedback so the devs or Khal will see it.

In the meantime, you can vote from other frontend :)

It has been working very well for me until yesterday, even the keychain browser wasn't working it too.
