Whew! Great to be back Hiving! It felt like forever when I was away for barely a day, lol!

We arrived a little over an hour ago coming from my in-law's place. We went to him mid-morning to bring some food from yesterday as there were plenty leftovers. We spent some two-three hours there before we decided it was time to come home.

On the way here, we dropped by one of the food houses in the valley and ordered pizza (Ham & Cheese) plus milk tea for take away, purposely for our afternoon snacks.

However on arriving, the husband could not resist the aroma that he ate 4 slices of it whilst I was in the shower, lol! And I can't blame him because although it looked bare, ordinary and plain, it was tasty and super soft. For some reason, both of us don't want thick crusts so this one's just okay. It was our first time checking the place out and buying something from their menu and it didn't disappoint, at least based on this box we had today.

Anyway, I was offline most of yesterday for we were busy with things. My niece was graduating from 6th grade and their father (my brother) went all out for a celebration that he even suggested having Mom's birthday celebration in advance instead of doing it on her exact date of birth which is still 24 days away. Considering that July is his birth month too, I readily agreed and we went on with the preparations.

Because the school ceremony happened in the afternoon, the celebration party was set for dinner. We kept it a surprise from mother and whilst she was resting in their house, we were at my brother's abode doing things - decorating and prepping more food among other things.

I didn't join my brother and our old man when they went to school with the kids around 1 pm. Figured the ceremony will be quick since it's an exclusive school and there were only 15 kids graduating so I stayed to finish things up. The husband and the boys took charge of the menu, the others applied their expertise on the mutton and other stuff.

Overall, the celebration was great and mother was all smiles with matching tears of unexpressed joy. Even though it was initially planned to be a family event, neighbors were invited so the fun was multiplied. There was laughter in and outside of the house because people were teasing each other.

These memories created have been added to the memory bank and we'll be adding more for sure! Until then, we'll continue to live life as we know best.😍
