Of Random Reflections, Vintage Volks & Memories

"Hello there, do you mind if I take a peek for a little while?" the gentleman bent as he spoke to the tiny man inside the classic volks car.

What tiny man? I don't see anyone in there!

Yeah, I heard that, very loud and clear. You can't see anybody because he is tiny and you will need more than just a pair of eyes. You have to have an ounce of imagination too.


I'm just kidding. I really don't know how to begin my post. I just want to have fun I guess, so forgive me if you find this intro rather OA or nonsensical, LOL!

Anyhow, that car was one of the displays along the city road sometime last year and I like the mirrored images on its hood that's why I'm including it today. I didn't even realize that the husband and I were there.

The one below on the other hand is the San Jose Church in La Trinidad. We attended the graduation of the kids (the husband's niblings) in July and the weather was so nice. The blue sky and the clouds have been mirrored on the glass window panes. Pardon the not-so-sharp images though.



These succeeding shots were reflections taken during one of our road trips in the previous year. It was August and we were traversing the Halsema highway one early morning (past 7 a.m.).



And oh! Another car was passing by and was caught on camera too! Just like what we are experiencing this time, it was mostly rainy then because these months are the peak of the monsoon season here up north, hence the gloomy atmosphere.



At that time, the sky started to show some colors in the farthest horizon so we pulled over by the roadside for a quick view. That's where I noticed the reflected images on the car's mud-splattered windows. Blame the big tires causing that mud all over the place, lol!



And last but not least, here's another vintage Volkswagen showing vague reflections of the sky, and some buildings around too. Still along Session Road in Baguio City.

Every reflection is really beautiful. Specially the one where clouds are shinning in the mirror of the building. Just loved it.

The second picture looks great and I feel that picture is enough to catch anyone's attention. The reflection increases the beauty of the picture. It gave a fascinating view of the picture.
Other pictures of reflection are looking good but the second one is best in my eyes.

I like the reflections on the car window. The reflection on the car without the little man or the invisible man has at least 1 little man reflected. 😀 The sky reflect in the glass pains is also beautiful.
