Our Anyongi, the Weekend and Goals

Our furry kid has been clingy and very moody these past few days. He kept sticking his tongue out and licking on anything rather excessively. After wondering what must be wrong, I made him open his mouth and noticed that his gums were bleeding and a few of his teeth were falling out.

I panicked and kept his toys away. Thought they hurt him because he usually bites them hard. The husband thought otherwise, saying it was about time for Anyongi to lose his baby teeth for the adult ones to come out. He was right.

The little guy is now 5 months old (he's been with us for 3, going 4). Oh, just how time flies! The house had never been loud until he came. Did I mention he howls? Yep. Our stomachs hurt from laughing when we heard it the first time. He resorts to "Awooooooooo" when we don't give in to what he wants, lol!

The husband said he's like a kid who throws tantrums. Also, he tends to keep me away from the computer as he has made my lap his favorite spot to snooze during the daytime. This furry kiddo surely knows how to make us do things just for him. But yes, he makes our small kingdom fun and we are happier with him around.


Anyway, the weekend is here again. Life has been good despite the severe cold weather that we are experiencing. The sun is generous in its warmth so it was lovely to spend some moments outdoors for a much-needed vitamin D.

Then we had popcorn, watched a film as I threaded in between, and checked the market too trying to make some trades.


A short nap ensued around midday until it was time to review how the previous week had been going regarding my set goals here on-chain. It's a bit funny that while it is only Saturday, my head says it's Sunday.

Here's a look at how the numbers are growing:

Hive Power

➡️Current: 16,933 HP

➡️Previous: 16,750 HP

It has grown by 183 in the last 7 days. Here are the stats so far, obtained from Hivestats:

  • Content Reward: 123.51 HP
  • Curation/Misc. Reward: 24.49 HP
  • Manual Staking: 35 HP

Leo Power

➡️Current: 26,920 LP

➡️Previous: 26,315 LP

There was a nice increase on this too, a total of 605 LEO has been added through the following:

  • Daily Manual Staking: 207 LEO
  • Staked on LPUD: 300 LEO
  • LeoAds: 98 LEO

One of the best surprises during the week is the distribution of LeoAds in the form of staked LEO. It finally rolled out and is expected to be a monthly thing.

HBD Savings

I send at least 1 HBD daily (3 at most) to savings. A total of 15 HBD was added making the total savings 557 this weekend. I'm already excited about this one, although I may have to halt it at some point to get more liquid HIVE. Will see.

Overall, the week had been good and I'm grateful as always to everyone. None of these would be possible without you so thank you.🤗🙏 The goal to build is still on so will keep this as a weekly exercise.

Meanwhile, we were to head out of the house for a cousin's wake but because of the coldness of the evening, we postponed it for tomorrow morning. He left too soon after battling with Leukemia but maybe, it's the way of the Heavens so he wouldn't suffer more.

You're right, @ifarmgirl! 🥹🥹 But it's okay as long as he's not alone. He actually gets so excited and cries when I get home in the province. He's the reason why I always cry everytime I leave the house returning here in the city. 😂

He's alright, Amie. Thanks for your concern :) I think he feels some discomfort due to his teeth. And yes, he's a joy to be with. Our laughter multiplied because of him hehe.
