DappBay: Web 3 dApp Store on BNB Chain

One of the places I visit from time to time is DappBay, a platform that features decentralized applications (dApps) on the BNB Chain (BSC).

It was launched in July last year and it's been growing since. Let me share a bit about it in this publication.


What is DappBay

It's a platform to explore and discover applications built on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and even new projects coming to it. According to its tagline, DappBay "provides top decentralized apps (dApps) on BNB Smart Chain (BSC)."¹ Here's to quote its introduction:

DappBay is a Web 3 dApp Store for users to safely explore and use dApps on BNB Chain (opBNB, BNB Greenfield, BSC). Users can discover new dApps, explore dApp rankings, analytics, campaigns, and airdrops, and scan risky contracts in real time.²

Users can easily explore and navigate the homepage which features various applications in different categories - GameFi, DeFi, Upcoming dApps, Social Trending, CEX, Marketplaces, and Topics among other things.


Additionally, users can get quick info about dApps with their own metrics and analytics in terms of growth, TVL, performance, etc.

Just click on the application you want to check and you can already access more comprehensive information like project description, team, social ranking, category, token name and current price, links to the White Paper, audit report, and official social accounts. You can even read reviews from other users or share your own.


Other Features

💠DApps Ranking

This is where you can easily access the dApps rankings in different timeframes (24H, 7-day, 30-day) based on the number of users, TVL, transactions, and even active users in their Discord channels.


💠Campaign Section

Users can find available and upcoming events, token launches, ICOs, airdrops, or Liquidity Provisions and staking opportunities through this section.

Speaking of which, there's a 2-month long airdrop marathon that started on the 10th of last month and runs until the 10th of December. Users can join any of the campaigns by connecting their Web 3 wallets and completing tasks.

💠Discover Page

Where users can learn and discover various stuff in different categories. There are how-to guides for beginners as well as intermediate learners.

💠Red Alarm

This is where users can find a list of decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts that have been reported and/or blacklisted and assessed as scams or with extremely high levels of risk.


This is a beneficial tool or place to check if you are thinking about investing in new projects or tokens in the BSC network. It's obviously best to avoid the projects that are included on this list.

💠Risk Scanner

This is another useful feature or tool where users can scan the risk level of smart contracts or wallet addresses. Simply enter the address on the field provided, click on "Scan" and wait for the result to come out.


Here's to quote the description of the tool as indicated at the bottom of the scan result.

This allows users to check the reference risk level of a BNB Chain Smart Contract or Wallet Address based on various criteria including but not limited to data accessed through auto-scan tools, algorithm models, and the level of transparency and accuracy of the contract.

Risk levels should not be construed as a recommendation vetting or endorsement of the Smart Contract or Wallet Address by DappBay, BNB Chain, or any other affiliated entity. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions, and ner interactions with any BSC Smart contract or wallet address are at your own risk.³

Summary & Conclusion

DappBay is an open, one-stop hub or dApp store exclusively for the BNB Smart Chain. The extensive coverage of the applications (old, new, and incoming) is quite impressive, providing real-time information to users who want to discover or check projects in the BSC ecosystem.

Accordingly, the description and information on the listed dApps on the platform are directly provided by the developers of the respective projects so users must not take them as they are. Always do your own due diligence before using or investing in any of them.

The Red Alarm and Risk Scanner are useful tools that can help users assess the risk they might be getting into when venturing into projects or thinking about transacting with smart contracts.

I rarely use Binance as so many features are not available to us in the UK, infact if it was not for the fact I can send HIVE there and then to other CEXs I would not use it at all.

I will see if this is available as I do like seeing what else is out there!

Oh yes, there are restrictions there. It's good you can still use it to transfer HIVE.

I think it's separate from the centralized exchange (Binance) but yes, it's still the Binance brand :)
