Account Growth, Delegation Tiers & Other Updates.gif


Week 6 of the year has concluded and we're on to the 7th already. The Chinese are celebrating their Lunar New Year too - the Year of the Dragon, an auspicious year they say. Some are optimistic about the market, that we may see a significant uptick in crypto as it did in 2012, another year of the Dragon. I hope they are right because the crypto winter has been dragging on for so long.

Anyhow, while a celebration is ongoing in most China towns, it's a very quiet weekend up here in the mountains and I love it! Yesterday was rather tiring so a peaceful time is very welcoming.

Meanwhile, it's update time for the numbers. And here's how they progressed since my last update 2 weeks ago:

Hive Power

  • Current: 17,380 HP
  • Previous: 17,082 HP

298 HP added in the last 14 days, an average of 21 HP a day - that's a combination of content and curation rewards, plus daily staking of 2 HIVE, and yep, there was the HPUD too! A good chunk of the HP addition was done on that day.

Speaking of which, I'm happy to share that I have been welcomed to the Fabulous 4 group (formerly 'Power of Three'), whose mission is to help newbies who show commitment to growing their stakes. Three Red Fishes have already received HP delegations from all 4 of us and we hope it can help them in any way.

Leo Power

  • Current: 27,536 LP
  • Previous: 27,231 LP

There was a combined increase of 305 Leo Power in the last 14 days. It's not much but they are adding up. And yes, I'm still doing my daily LEO staking based on the calendar date. I still find fun in doing so.

During the Leo AMA on Tuesday, there was an announcement of tiered rewards for Hive Power delegation to leo.voter where delegators can choose to have their rewards as staked LEO or keep the default reward which is in liquid.


I switched mine immediately to staked when I learned about it. And since I'm a premium user on INLEO, that makes me fall into the Tier 3 category, so I'm now earning 22% APR from my delegations.

  • Tier 1: HP delegator, Earn 13% APR from your HP Delegation
  • Tier 2: HP delegator, delegation rewards switched to staked LEO, Earn 20% APR.
  • Tier 3: HP delegator, delegation rewards switched to staked LEO and Premium subscriber on INLEO. Earn 22% APR.

If you did not know about this, visit your dashboard on Labs UI and check it out. When you switch to staked, you need to wait for an hour before the change gets reflected on your dashboard. It will look like this afterward. The feature is being tested in the Labs and may roll out on the main UI after some time.

That will help increase my Leo Power by 5+ LEO daily, apart from the manual staking that I do.

By the way, if you are wondering how else to earn LEO, check out the February Prompt initiative and also this update. These two will give you some ideas. The main takeaway is to publish your posts via the INLEO frontend, no matter which community it is being posted to.

HBD Savings

  • Current: 601 HBD
  • Previous: 564 HBD

37 HBD had been added. I'm on track with my goal to double the savings at the end of the year. The APR is now 19%, at least that's what is showing on my dashboard. Some Witnesses are signaling for lower APR and this might be it.

It is still a good rate though, I'm just hoping it would not drop below 15%, lol!


Summing Up

My stakes are growing slowly. There was an average growth of 1.7% on both HP and LP and a good 6% in the HBD Savings. Here's the progress since week 1.

Nice statistics. You are doing great. let the dragon strikes enormous this year for the crypto in general and especially for $HIVE and $LEO.

Though it's been more than an hour now yet I don't see it switched to the second picture. I need it to be green, hopefully. When I hit the advance view it asks me to pay for the #premium again lol

Luckily I am smart enough not to do it again :)

Is there anything else I need to do to get that switched to staked?

Thank you. Hope your switch has reflected by now. I read on threads that they pushed the feature on the main site so need to wait because it might be a bug.



The Advanced View is not live yet. That is the features for Premium users but they re still working on it like the other stats on the dashboard page.😉

Do not send it again. Let's wait. It's the same for me. It was switched back to Tier 1. The update might still need to sync or something. I did receive the delegation reward for the day.
