A Detour, A Farm Walk and An Investment Prospect

(Edited)

We were out the whole of yesterday, first to visit my in-law and bring him goodies. Had lunch with him and then we left early afternoon but instead of taking the road home, we detoured and headed to another town, driving to its outskirts with the purpose of checking out on a property that we are interested in putting some money on. The sky started to get darker and the sunshine was nowhere in sight but we decided to go forth and hope it would not rain so soon.

We entered a single-lane road that is quite similar to our private road here in our lil kingdom. Whilst the husband had been there twice, it was my first time so I didn't really know what to expect.

The aura is good so far as we traversed the narrow street. And people seems to be friendly. I say so because most of the vehicles which we met along the way are nice - they take the roadsides and readily let us through even when they are heavily-loaded and are coming up. It made me feel guilty at some point because we should be the one giving way but they did. That's a great impression for me to be honest.

The place is at a lower altitude so it feels a lot warmer even when it's mountainous. Pardon the photos by the way for they aren't sharp.😊 Like I often say, it's just point-and-shoot, lol! And one reason might be because most have been taken while the car's running.

Anyhow, we reached the place after almost an hour of driving. They are currently doing some improvements and reinforcements on the road walls so everywhere is muddy that even on a 4WD, we almost sideswiped a parked car because the road is simply a mess and slippery. We were lamenting that the contractors should scrape those mud off before an accident happen.

After securing a space to park, we started our walk. The caretaker of the farm was not around so we just invited ourselves for a tour. I got fascinated with the bananas that I could not resist taking some snaps. There were lots of them!

We strolled towards the other side where some trees were. That's the hubby looking like he was in deep thoughts as he walked towards where I was.

I thought we can go up to the boundary of the property from that spot but the route going to it is at the other side so we went back to where the bananas are. I was distracted for a little taking some more pictures when I realized that the husband was already away and up there and I was left talking to myself, lol! Wait up will ya?😅

So I followed him up there. The view of the opposite mountain is quite amazing. Lots of fields and greenhouses too.

We spent some wee while looking around and making plans already - own road, re-bulldozing this or that and such. Another set of dreams and goals born right there and then.

But we didn't reach the top yet and because the neighboring farm had their sprinklers running where the trail to the uppermost part of the property, we could not go there.

So we walked back and down to where the caretaker's farmhouse is. The legs became wobbly on such a steep foot path, lol!

The husband was talking with someone when I caught up with him. It turned out, the caretaker has just arrived.

The whole property is quite extensive and we only saw a portion of it. Apparently, it has a total area of 1.6 hectares (10,600 square meters) and it's such a waste that it's being kind of neglected while the neighboring fields are thriving, most have already been prepared and planted with crops.

Anyhow, we drove away feeling positive. The husband already excited and I am too.

We believe that real properties especially in our region will keep rising as more and more people get into agricultural pursuits. Hence, we think it is worth-investing. We have seen how prices of lands shoot up in just a few years even in the most far flung areas where there are access roads.

Hopefully, that piece is meant for us. Until then, we dream on...

This is our hump day adventure and my participation to the #WednesdayWalk initiative by Tattoodjay.

The property looks beautiful and it seems like there is a tremendous opportunity considering the neighboring fields. The old saying goes that you can’t go wrong with real estate so best of luck if you move forward with it!

Looking to invest in land properties would be a good choice for anyone right now. Because land keeps rising in value every year and it's not in only some places but all around the world.

It's why real estate is a big deal in the finance sector.

This usually happens with my roommate and im always the one behind him while he's far gone. But he's the one that keeps talking thinking im still by his side. He's got long legs and moves faster but, I like slow and steady. Most time he has no choice but to wait or walk slowly until I catch up.

That's true. It's one of those things that are worth-investing.

Haha, it seems I'm not the only one usually left behind when walking. It's good your friend waits for you to catch up.

Hehe. I was going to say about it but you gave the answer before I ask😅?.

I was distracted for a little taking some more pictures when I realized that the husband was already away and up there..

I also understand the situation because I faced the situation many times. Nothing we can do in this case because taking pictures is important too😃.

Overall I think you enjoyed all the day..

I admire you and farmboy because you guys are definitely making the right investment. I intend to have lots of land as well for farming purposes but I still have a long way to go.

The place looks really good, the sky, mountain, greenery, everything is calling me over. Wish I could slip into that environment from my phone.

The scenery all the way is beautiful, it looks like a very nice place, it is also important the kindness of the people, I wish that the property you wish to have, yes it can be yours and you can build your dream together.

Greetings.
