Chronicles of Lost Opportunities: When Time Slipped Through My Fingers, and the Train I Missed

When it comes to managing time discipline is something required and we've been taught throughout the years with all that assignments, tasks or things we're supposed to do on time.

But well, we all have managed time poorly at some point of life that had costed us big time or something like serious event.

I guess what happened to me was something you ain't expected and have no idea but we gonna get there. So, let me start from the beginning.

When Time Slipped Through My Fingers

It's is about one and half year ago when like usual routine I was awake till midnight and went to sleep at 5 in the morning with some multiple alarms.

Closed my eyes in absolute silence like whole family was sleeping and when I opened my eyes it was like someone rushing from this room to other to this and there absolute madness and after checking clock I realized it's just 9am.

Oh, did I forgot something? Nah, I knew they were all preparing for final things before leaving the house to travel some city but forgot the part I'm also included in this family.

After this realization I was like did anyone ironed my clothes? I'm off to take shower and about to get ready in 5mins while I'm still dead sleep inside.

The 5 minute Speedrun was real and getting fully prepared within just minutes is boys thing.

I got this skill from being student when my school is gonna start at 8'o clock but doing breakfast at 7:61 (this calculation is real on point) knowing I still got plenty of time left.

What happened next was something unexpected..

I'm like prepared and now using smartphone and than right about time mom said it's time to leave. I said Aight mom, just tell me where's my shoes and she told me it's right there and now when I was wearing em realized it's like torn or broken need to be fixed.

I heard mom right when I was asking asking for shoes said have you given that shoe's for fix?

Had no idea what she's asking at that moment but after realizing I rushed for the shop to get em fixed.

I told the shoemaker it's urgent as we're going out of city and time is short it took some time and the anger of my mom at that time was real like when I get back to her she was like I was thinking to leave you behind so you realize why doing things on right time is necessary not in rush causing trouble and panic for everyone.

the Train I Missed

the train I'm talking about is real train like real one we see on railway station. You see what I did there with twist.

Well, while on way we're like 99% sure train is missed we're Already late and the route was half jammed.

But luckily, we reached there on time and right that moment

I took a picture of the train and that time I had no idea one day I will be taking about this story.

From real worried about it's going to be missed to that happiness and relaxation after seeing it was something else.

Wrapping up...

In the end I learnt we should do our tasks and work should be done on right time even if it's as little as the shoe needed to be fix.

Otherwise it could become the reason of missing a train that can be an opportunity or real one. I hope you found this story of mine interesting.
