Economic & Crypto Calendar (May 22 - 26)

This week we have some major data from the global central banks, on the other hand, crypto ecosystem will be interesting, too.

Economic Calendar of the U.S.

There is not much on the side of U.S in the upcoming week.

St. Louis Fed President James Bullard will be speaking on Monday and some more speeches from the side of FED.

The initial jobless claims may have some importance for the investors as the focus on the FED is both on the inflation rates and the jobless claims to "cool down" the economy.

Of course, negative rates on the side of manufacturing will be seen as a sign of mild (!) recession for the markets. Also, the personal consumption expenditures price index is on the way.

I believe core PCE may affect all markets if the rate comes totally different from the expectations.

The expectation of a 25-bps rate spike is getting stronger!

Economic Calender of G20

We will get CPI from GBP on Thursday. The inflation rate of GBP is expected to drop below 9% sharply.

There is still no final decision on the debt ceiling of the U.S. The tension in the markets has been increasing. Though we have not gotten any results, the U.S will not go into default.

Calendar of Crypto

Eyes on Optimism.

The circulating supply of OPT will increase next week according to the planned token unlock!

The price of the token may start to have some volatility due to that event.
