Rattan Furniture is Making a Comeback

The creation of diverse things wrapped with artistic works of art is frequently done by creative people using natural materials. Of course, their talented hands will produce a variety of goods. One of them is the following handicraft, which is created entirely of rattan, a natural material.

So, dear friends, wherever you are, let's take a time to admire the fruits of their handiwork, which are being sold alongside the main road in the Indonesian city of Lhokseumawe.

Rattan furniture is what is shown above. This idea, in my opinion, gives the corners of the house a natural sense. This furniture item is made of wicker that has a characteristic rattan hue.

Not only that, baskets, which are also made of woven rattan, are another mainstay product sold here. "This product is very loved by women," said the seller of this handicraft. Prices for these unique baskets are around Rp.100,000 (equivalent: $6,68).

Meanwhile, other furniture, such as lounge chairs, did not escape their creations. The rattan skin wrap is still maintained to decorate each connection of the base frame.
