Wednesday walk : Walk to the Garden

Greetings.
Gardening is one of the activities that can make the body healthy. Wednesday morning I walked to a village on the outskirts of the city of Sukabumi, West java. I often pass this village every morning walk and hive been wanting to enter this garden for along time.

I saw a man who looked old hoering the ground, I try to enter their land area and greet them using local language to make them more familiar. The father explained that this land belonged to his son who lived outside the city, he handed over the land to his father to use it for business and increase economic income.

This land several types of plants are planted, such as growing rice that is still about a month old, peanut are also still growing, can see that the father is still enthusiastic about hoeing the land which will be used to make a pond which will later be used for fish cultivation.

The water in this area is quite good, which comes from mountain water flowing naturally from the upper area down to the lower area, the height of the land here is around 700 meters above sea level.

There is one plant that is an attraction every time I pass by this area namely the Durian tree fruit plant, there are several Durian fruit trees in the garden. Currently this Durian fruit is about six years old,it already bears fruit every year.

Currently the Durian tree is growing, bear fruit and develop the fruit is still small and the fruit sticker to the branches but the Durian fruit that is available usually doesn't last until it gets big some fall off, of the number of small fruit it gets big and can weight around three to four kilos each the fruit.

They garden and can make money from Durian fruit, when it is ripe the fruit can be sold, when the rice plants are harvested they are used for their families to eat. Thank you #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay as host.
