HOW TO BUILD CAPACITY

Sometimes I do wonder why people choose to believe that for them to be successful, they don't need anyone, I don't know who holds this thought but if you are the one, I'd love to know why you believe so I can also learn. Life is a game that you can't be the only player, you need as many players as possible especially if your goal is to win. Every player in a game is geared towards winning but then, not all of them will end up winning, some are terminated immediately they start their journey, others stay for a very long time and die, while some live until they are crowned with victory.

In all of these, you will get to understand that if it was just one player, then it's certain that it will take you a longer time to achieve your goal. Now this is where capacity building comes in. I do know that some people are very talented, brilliant and intelligent but then even those persons needs to be around a dullard to be sure they are intelligent. A lot of people have been through so many things in life and they got to the point when they can no longer trust people and they just want to win on their own. Well, the bad news is you can never succeed on your own, you will surely need someone else at one point of your quest.

Mind you, it's not bad to need people (I feel some persons see it as a bad thing), people are there for a purpose and you failing to need them only means you are not ready to truly win. In terms of building capacity, you should bear in mind that it doesn't just happen in a day and even if it does happen in a day, that only means you made maximum use of the man power available. I really love the acronym of the word TEAM = Together Everybody Achieves More. You can't build a team with just one person, it is not possible, like the example using a bunch of broom. As a bunch of broom, no one can ever break them apart but when you have just a stick of broom, you can easy break it.

I've witness so many projects that succeeded just because of the way they maximize the use of manpower. Let's say for a second it is possible to achieve great success alone, it will take you a long time to do so but then you just choose to waste time and struggle on your own all because you want all the glory to yourself or something, to me that's foolishness at it's peak. The problem most people have engaging manpower is that they just want to prove a point. If you want, you can ask people that I've tried working alone how it went and also those who seek for help from people and hear their responses.

In this life, the fact that we are not the only one living in it only means that we can't do it alone, yes we can try but what's the use when we can easily ask of help and get so much done? My dear readers please be wise and start learning how to employ the help of manpower because that's the best way to build capacity. If you need help with something, don't hesitate to ask even though you've been turned down a thousand times, but then that's only if you are humble enough because it's really not easy but then it's very effective.

The aim of this write up is to encourage us to learn how to make the most of the people around us and stop trying to do it all alone. The best way to build capacity is by maximizing the manpower available. We all need one another and the earlier we see and accept that, the better for everyone. I need you and you also need me, so always make yourself available to serve humanity by also employing them also.

Until next time, stay AWESOME and JIGGY!!!

One thing we need to keep in mind is that we are social beings and we can't move forward alone. In fact, it's impossible. I know some people think that they can go forward without anyone's help but after a certain point, they can realize that they are wrong. I have seen many having such kind of mentality.

We must understand capacity not only as technical skills or knowledge but also as emotional resilience, adaptability, and self-perception. Capacity building is an ongoing journey that combines formal learning with life experiences. So, it is crucial to recognize that it changes and evolves with time and circumstances.

Hence, I marvel at how you address the topic, highlighting the importance of self-assessment and adaptability, two key components for personal and professional growth. From a psychological perspective, self-awareness and self-reflection are essential to identify areas for improvement and adapt to challenges. Especially in today's fast-paced world, where change is constant, the ability to adapt and learn is more valuable than ever.
