Saturday Savers Club Progress week 50 - Bought some more DRIP

Its week 50 (16/12/23) of my savings focus for 2023 with the Saturday Savers Club which I think is a great Hive community initiative run by @shanibeer writing as @sally-saver on the @eddie-earner account.

My focus for the rest of the year is:

• My annual HP target of 10K HP - achieved !!!
• Growing my holding of investment tokens,
• Delegating HP to a number of good community curation accounts.

Weekly commentary

• I gained +117 HP - I'm always happy to break the 100 mark for a weekly gain, so there aint no complaints here !,
• My HP total is now 10,299 HP,
• I delegated another +11 HP to @ocdb to bring that total to 141 HP. The next target is 250 HP, so I'll just keep going until I hit that,
• I gained +1.92 EDS. My 2017 HP delegation to @eds-vote brought in +1.62 EDS this week and the rest was from the mining lottery for holding EDSMMs (I have 120 of those). I wont hit my year end target of 100, but I'll get close (unless I buy a few more from the market),
• I gained +1.66 DAB this week, which is a little below average in terms of weekly gains, but I still cant complain - its a nice little passive income stream that comes in each week,
• I gained +2 DBOND taking my total to 715. Its also nice to see that steadily growing each week,
• I gained +3.735 DRIP this week, having bought a little more from the market. I'm keen to hit 100 by year end (now at 95.523) and should be able to do that in the remaining two weeks we have of the year,
• I also had 9 HBD:HIVE trades go through for a total profit of around 7 HIVE this week. Not huge, but its a nice little weekly gain for not a lot of work, and with every trade made, my trading fund increases that bit more.

Plan for the coming week

• To continue to make sure I post daily/regularly to ensure daily HBD and HIVE author rewards,
• To be active in HIVE Blog curation to help with HIVE curation rewards,
• To continue to increase undelegated HIVE in order to improve HIVE curation rewards,
• To continue with HBD:HIVE trading. I'll also be adding some additional funds (in small amounts) to my trading capital each week, which will help grow the gains over the long term (albeit slowly),
• This weeks delegation of 15% of my weekly HP income (18 HP) will be going to @ocdb again, as part of my project to support community curation accounts via HP delegation,
• I'll continue to buy DRIP in bits and pieces with the aim of hitting 100 by the end of the year,
• I'll be working on what my targets for 2024 will be. HIVE will absolutely be in there, and I'm currently considering what else I want to focus on in the new year.

In summary, it was another good week. My HP gain was higher than I thought it would be (I was surprised it was over 100). It was good to add another small amount of DRIP, bringing that target of holding 100 very close.

I also joined in with the last LPUD of the year yesterday. Its great to see LEO making a small rally. I powered up 150 LEO and now have a LP total of 3405. Its good news for all of those that regularly support LPUD to see some improvement in the price of the token of late. The guys at inleo are doing a lot of good work, so heres hoping that growth continues over time.

My Tribe Token Investment Project

My experiment with 8 different tribe tokens on my alt account @hoosieboy is moving along nicely. The experiment is designed to grow semi-passively via staking, curation, posting and rebalancing - in a way where the methods should work together and add constructively. Everything gets re-invested back into curation accounts for the same 8 tribe tokens, so it also provides a positive boost to those tribes.

I'll undertake my next rebalance later today. The project is working nicely, although values are low at the moment, however they should build up over time. Its great to see the various methods of curation, posting, staking and rebalancing all working in tandem. You can check out my latest rebalance post on my @hoosieboy alt account here.
