Saturday Savers Club Progress week 49 - Bought some more DRIP

Its week 49 (09/12/23) of my savings focus for 2023 with the Saturday Savers Club which I think is a great Hive community initiative run by @shanibeer writing as @sally-saver on the @eddie-earner account.

My focus for the rest of the year is:

• My annual HP target of 10K HP - achieved !!!
• Growing my holding of investment tokens,
• Delegating HP to a number of good community curation accounts.

This weeks pic - shows some street art I saw on the way home from work on monday. This underpass always has some pretty good stuff in it and it can change a couple of times a month. I have to say I was really impressed with this - thats some pretty good skills right there !

Weekly commentary

• I gained +71 HP which I'm happy about. I had taken my foot of the gas a little after reaching 10K HP, but 71 HP in a week is still a good number,
• My HP total is now 10,182 HP. I'm continuing to think about targets for next year now and adding some more HP by the end of the year will help with both APR and curation income next year, so its important to keep stacking,
• I delegated another +25 HP to @ocdb to bring that total to 130 HP. The next target is 250 HP, so I'll just keep going until I hit that,
• I gained +1.96 EDS. My 2015 HP delegation to @eds-vote brought in +1.48 EDS this week and the rest was from the mining lottery for holding EDSMMs (I have 120 of those),
• I gained +2.112 DAB this week, which is higher than my usual gain, so I cant complain about that,
• I gained +1 DBOND taking my total to 713. Its nice to see that steadily growing each week too,
• I gained +12.861 DRIP this week, most of which was a purchase from the market. I'm keen to try and hit 100 by year end (now at 91.788) because the daily income is pretty good, so I might as well benefit while the APR is so high,
• I also had 8 HBD:HIVE trades go through for a total profit of around 7 HIVE this week. Not huge, but its still a gain. HIVE still isnt seeing the same pump that BTC is, but there was growth over the week (this weeks high was $0.3883 which just happened in the last few hours, compared to last weeks high of $0.3765). I'll happily take slow and steady growth week-on-week anytime !

Plan for the coming week

• To continue to make sure I post daily/regularly to ensure daily HBD and HIVE author rewards,
• To be active in HIVE Blog curation to help with HIVE curation rewards,
• To continue to increase undelegated HIVE in order to improve HIVE curation rewards,
• To continue with HBD:HIVE trading now that the price is back in my trading range. I'll also be adding some additional funds (in small amounts) to my trading capital each week, which will help grow the gains over the long term (albeit slowly),
• This weeks delegation of 15% of my weekly HP income (11 HP) will be going to @ocdb again, as part of my project to support community curation accounts via HP delegation,
• I'll continue to buy DRIP in bits and pieces with the aim of hitting 100 by the end of the year,
• I'll be working on what my targets for 2024 will be. HIVE will absolutely be in there, and I'm currently considering what else I want to focus on in the new year.

In summary, it was a good week. I added more HP and another nice little chunk of DRIP. Theres still 3 weeks left in 2023 to add some more to the stack before its time to start work on 2024s goals !!!

My Tribe Token Investment Project

My experiment with 8 different tribe tokens on my alt account @hoosieboy is moving along nicely. The experiment is designed to grow semi-passively via staking, curation, posting and rebalancing - in a way where the methods should work together and add constructively. Everything gets re-invested back into curation accounts for the same 8 tribe tokens, so it also provides a positive boost to those tribes.

I'll undertake my next rebalance later today. The project is working nicely, although values are low at the moment, however they should build up over time. Its great to see the various methods of curation, posting, staking and rebalancing all working in tandem. You can check out my latest rebalance post on my @hoosieboy alt account here.
