Saturday Savers Club Progress week 41 - Broke the 9k HP barrier

Its week 41 (14/10/23) of my savings focus for 2023 with the Saturday Savers Club which I think is a great Hive community initiative run by @shanibeer writing as @sally-saver on the @eddie-earner account.

My focus for the rest of the year is:

• My annual HP target of 10K HP,
• Growing my holding of investment tokens,
• Delegating HP to a number of good community curation accounts.

This weeks pic - A shot of of the swans in our local park and their 4 cygnets from this year which are looking pretty big now. I guess it wont be long before they all fly away for winter. We love seeing this pair of swans. They are the only pair in our local park. They come back every year and bring up 4-5 cygnets.

Weekly commentary

• I gained +75 HP this week, which is below my weekly target due to a lack of posting the week before, but its still a good increase, although I do need to get back to more consistent posting. I'm just conscious of pushing out too many posts of low quality for the sake of posting, and am trying to find a good balance.
• My HP total is now 9024 HP. It feels great to have finally broken the 9k HP barrier, and it now feels like hitting 10k will really happen quite soon. This time last year I had 2011, so have gained 7013 HP over the last year,
• I need a further 976 HP to hit my year end 10K HP target, which at 11 weeks to go requires 87 HP per week (up 1 per week). 87 HP a week is still a lot, so I will have to keep focused to manage that,
• I've delegated +14 HP to @curie as part of my community curation delegation project which brings that total to 33 now,
• I gained +4.14 EDS, some of it due to buying, bringing my total to 70. I wont hit my year end target of 100, but I'll get close,
• I gained +1.848 DAB this week brining my total to 24. I'm really enjoying how this is coming together. It does not look like much, but its adding up nicely,
• I gained +2 DBOND taking my total to 698. The second batch sale is finished now (they all got sold), however, I'm happy with these passive gains from staked DAB,
• I gained +0.361 DRIP this week, which was just from staking rewards, which is pretty decent noting that I only have 20 DRIP. I do like this project and will be buying more over the coming weeks,
• I also gained a further +9.981 PWR tokens from my HP delegation to @empo.voter, and what I have in the PWR:swap.hive pool - my PWR total continues to build nicely !.

Plan for the coming week

• To continue to make sure I post daily/regularly to ensure daily HBD and HIVE author rewards,
• To be active in HIVE Blog curation to help with HIVE curation rewards,
• To continue to increase undelegated HIVE in order to improve HIVE curation rewards,
• This weeks delegation of 20% of my weekly HP income (15 HP) will be going to @curie , as part of my project to support community curation accounts via HP delegation,
• I'm keen to buy some more DRIP, and I'll be sweating some other assets this week to do that - it probably wont be a huge amount, but it will make a nice addition to what I already have,
• I've started saving 1 HBD a week as the next offering coming from the DAB/DBOND project is the DAB Club Token which will cost around 30 HBD. I really like this project from @dailydab , so I will be getting one, so have started putting some HBD away weekly towards that - although a release date hasnt been given yet,
• I'll continue to do some token trading in HIVE-Engine when the opportunities present themselves. This is not a big earner, but it helps,
• I will be selling HBD payouts from posts for HIVE in order to power up more towards my annual HP target, especially while the price of HIVE is so low - its making quite a difference to that target at the moment.

In summary, its been a great week. The gains werent massive, but I have to say it was pretty awesome to break the 9k HP barrier, as it all of a sudden makes the 10k HP target very real. I've been working towards that for a very long time, pretty much since joining HIVE in Nov 2021, and it really feels like the hard work is paying off (literally).

And as a reminder:

• Its Leo Power Up Day (LPUD) tomorrow (Sunday 15th of Oct) - the price of LEO is quite low at moment so its not a bad time to buy if needed to reach the power-up amounts,
