My goals for 2024, the first report…

The goals…

I had to force myself to write this report, you know, rather lazy than tired...
But well, even if no one reads this report except, yes, you 😉, it will still be useful for historical value... for myself.
So, how is everything evolving compared to the goals I set last week:

So far, so good!
Ok, we've only just started the year, of course, but if I maintain this pace, it should be fine. We're only 12 days in, and I'm already over halfway to the monthly goal for HP, and perfectly on schedule for HBD. If the interest for the latter is paid out at the end of the month, I will also end up above the goal there...

But what does the overall picture look like...

At first glance, this looks good. Ending above a 10% return despite the declining Hive prices is not bad... at first glance. One thing is, of course, explained by regularly buying additional Hives and thus lowering my average purchase price... But honestly, 2024 will be a crucial year for me, and it's about time that the downward trend turns into a stable or even rising trend...

I'm also not really impressed by the results of the second layer tokens. In my previous post, I already wrote that I would change some things here, and the first tokens to disappear are COM and HUSTLER (the latter is not even included in the overview). The results of these are downright negative, and the story around them is, to say the least, unreliable...

Still, in general, I continue to believe in the Hive story... at least for this year 😉 And not least because it's fun to play with all those tokens...
As mentioned, we'll see what the year brings!

HIVE has proven to be a weak coin this fall and winter. I transferred part of HIVE to HBD and put it at 20% per annum. In my opinion, HIVE's chances of good growth are minimal. I think a correction is possible in BTC, along with global stock markets.

On the other hand, I'm still having fun here and I still invest in more and other conventional ways... crypto is still a game for me 😉

and it's about time that the downward trend turns into a stable or even rising trend...

I'm guessing that you know that HIVE very broadly follows a four year cycle and 2024 is year three of that cycle, the summary of which is that on the whole expect price action, if any, to be pretty boring and not much different from now. 2025, if anywhere, is where we will see an upswing, but of course, it will be for a short time, before the cycle turns and prices fall again.

Most people are preparing now for how they will take surpluses from the increased prices expected in 2025. Some people are planning this for when HIVE reaches 2.00 USD, but each to their own.

Having said that, the low last cycle was about .13 USD, this time, so far, it's closer to .25 USD, so within the four year cycle there is also a gentle upward trend.

Hmm... don't you think it is a bit fast to make conclusions about a 4 year cycle... based on a blockchain that is only 7-8 years old?
I hope you're right of course, but I think it's more hope than facts, like with everything in crypto 😂

Congratulations for being so on schedule with your monthly goals! That's excellent! You've got some really nice numbers there! I was sad to see the death of HUSTLER, as I had quite a lot of it, but the reorganization around COM seems perhaps better. I still like COM, as I need daily drips of SWAP.HIVE to keep adding to diesel/liquidity pools. In any case, I hope that you smash all of your goals this month! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

You're most welcome, absolutely! I have almost 10,200 COM, and I receive a little more than 0.008 per day. It's not a lot, there true, but it, along with daily payouts from diesel/liquidity pools, give me the daily dose of SWAP.HIVE that allows me to add assets to the pools every day. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
