"Convincing Your Loved Ones to Join Your Religion: Is It Biblical?"

This is a question that will be addressed in this post. Is it not wrong to convince your loved ones to join your religion? No. Would you like to share your faith with your loved ones?Would you share something you value with your loved ones if you won't lose it? The book of Matthew 4:23 tells us how Jesus Christ of Nazareth was teaching people the gospel. The aim is to touch people with love; that is the reason for which he came.

So, if anyone should find salvation and keep it for himself, he should spread it. You might be ashamed to go to the synagogue like Christ did; you might not have the money to host yourself on cable television; but you have to share the gospel, as it is a treasure that is hidden from many.

What if you found a treasure that you cannot exhaust alone—probably a new resource that you discover and that is available throughout your nation—would you keep it to yourself? No, IMO, because you cannot exhaust the salvation that is in the Lord.

To do this, to share the love, and to teach people about life in Christianity, we have to be sure that we are saved first. The clearance that we have to share the gospel is the assurance of our salvation.

In the video above, Brother Eli gave an example of watermelon. If
You have big pieces of watermelon that you cannot finish alone. My question is, would you rather share it or preserve it and watch many of it get spoiled?

There is an attitude and a way of doing that too. There are things you should not do because being saved does not determine that you can easily convince every other person.

You must do it in love, with the right attitude and not the wrong one. The family is one of the biggest institutions that controls the behavioural patterns of people's lives. You can start with your family; you will learn how to talk to people out of love from there.

You need to communicate with the right attitude. You should not condemn or spend more time discussing condemnation when you should speak about the salvation that you found and communicate the truth that you have within you, the motivation, and the excitement.

Don't tell a person addicted to smoking that it can damage them; they know that but tell them the way out. Most important, make sure you are brief with your discussion.

Once you have found salvation, the truth, and righteousness, do not withhold it from people that you can influence with it, mostly people who need it, not forcefully or by threating them.
