In the terms of cryptocurrency or you might want to say digital currencies, blockchain has been the major backbone and which all transactions done within a block. Each blocks is said to have hashes and time stamp, this block can be stored in any computer that is able to process blockchain transactions.

A blockchain comprise of computers which are networked together, which are referred to nodes and these nodes fundamental functions is storage and mining. A node also have the capability to store a complete set of blocks in a blockchain transaction record, we can refer to these nodes as building blocks of a blockchain. In a blockchain what does this nodes actually do? While firstly the nodes helps with transaction validation within a block, which it helps in verification of incoming transactions checking if they are legitimate.

Secondly they also acts as a storage which they help keep records of transactions within a block, and lastly they help in broadcasting transactions information since they help storing and creating record needed for new transactions.
