Testing The Steempress Plugin On My Wordpress Blogs...

I picked up an intriguing tip today when I watched (or more correctly, listened to) Jon Olson's CTP training video about blogging. (It's the fourth video in the Profit! section of the CTP training.)

In the video Jon mentioned three plugins or tools he's used to help with his blogging on the Steemit blog. It was the first plugin he talked about that really caused me to prick up my ears.

The Steempress Wordpress Plugin For Steemit

It's called Steempress and it's a Wordpress plugin that automatically republishes your Wordpress blog posts on the Steem blockchain, i.e. on your Steemit blog, where they can attract a new audience of Steemians and also generate revenue for you whenever anybody upvotes them or comments on them.

Busily Installing the Plugin...

I have a bunch of Wordpress blogs and so I have been busily installing the Steempress plugin onto all the ones whose posts I'd like to syndicate out to my Steemit blog.

I'll let you know how it goes. One slight concern is that although the plugin was updated four months ago, it is currently "untested" with the latest version of Wordpress.

An Incentive To Do More Blogging...

Assuming it works, it will be an extra incentive to get me to blog more. Hopefully you'll begin to see more posts from me on a variety of topics including:

If someone has a personal blog, based on Wordpress, Steempress is an ideal tool for use... You create posts on your Wordpress, have content on your personal website + get additional exposure to people on STEEM (and tribes).
