Missing My Cat, Pepper 😞
Life is full of surprises, and one of its more unexpected moments was when I lost Pepper, my cat. She wasn't just any cat; she had a special place in my heart. I had found her as a stray, and she quickly became my sweet companion.
Having her around while working from home was a true joy. During my breaks or whenever I needed a moment of relaxation, Pepper was there. She'd rub against my leg, demanding attention. Looking at her play or simply resting beside me brought a sense of calm during my busy days.
Every time I step outside, be it for a walk or a bike ride, I find myself scanning the surroundings. Each cat I see, I hope it might look a bit like Pepper, thinking maybe she's out there and okay. I always hope that perhaps, someday, she might come back. 😭
The memories of her are often brought back when I scroll through my phone. Photos and videos of Pepper playing or just being her cute self remind me of the good times we shared. These moments captured digitally mean the world to me now.
To many, she may have seemed like just another stray. But to me, she was more than that. She was a friend, a loyal companion, a bright spot in my day. Every moment with her was special.
Wherever Pepper is now, I hope she's well and happy. It's a dream of mine that our paths might cross again someday. Until then, she lives on in my memories and in the heartwarming moments saved on my phone.
Losing loved ones is really sad. To be honest, when we cherish something for a while, we develop a special fondness for it. Hope you find your favorite animal.

yeah, I appreciate your comment @dreemsteem, it has been more than 3 months since she was gone, and I thought she could come back just in a few days or weeks, I am praying is good and sound just living in someone's home just playing 🙏

you know something similar happened to our cat.
he was gone for months! and we lived in a remote area where outside cars often got killed by wild animals.
so we were.sure he was.gone
one day we hear a meow at the back porch...3-4 months later and there he was!!!!!
turns out someone grabbed him and kept him at their house for a while lol
but he came home!
maybe she will too .. lets pray for that! 🤗
This is a heartwarming post, hiro. I never had a cat or any pet, yet it feels like I can understand what it feels like to miss a loyal companion like Pepper. That's a really sad experience.

Oh no! I'm so sorry Pepper is missing. Sometimes they do come back even after a long time. How long has she been gone?
it's been more than 3 months already, is there still a chance? I am still trying to look around
I don't know what the odds are but I've heard some stories where months or even years later, they are found with a microchip or they make it home. Sometimes someone else took them in thinking they are a stray. Did you put up signs or something if anyone sees them?

I can imagine the feeling.
I use to have a dog funda, I trained him from when it was a puppy, but it's a crossbreed so it's not expected to live more than 8 years. My parents didn't tell me when he died because of how close we were... Pepper is definitely in a better place.

This is so emotional. Sorry to hear this. I felt like this sometime ago when we lost our dog too. Pests are a part of us, when we lose them, we lose a family member. Be comforted with the memories you shared like you said, who knows if it could trace it's way back to you again. Sorry again
