Shou Zi Chew, CEO of TikTok has assured users of the application that his company will fight and overcome the United States ban. The CEO reportedly told Reuters that the social media company expects to prevail in a court case challenging a statute that President Joe Biden has signed into law. With the existing restriction, the 170 million users of the company's popular short video app would be prohibited from using it.

According to Reuters, CEO Shou Zi Chew stated in a video that was uploaded shortly after President Biden signed the bill. Chew shared, "Rest assured - we aren't going anywhere". According to him the facts and the conditions are on their side and they expect to prevail again.

Numerous studies have been conducted on TikTok's effect and economic impact in the US. An economic impact report published by TikTok in which it shared that it brought in $14.7 billion for small and Medium-sized United States companies. TikTok has been proven to be an invaluable source for promotion for small companies and artists across the nation.

In a statement, TikTok spokesperson Alex Haurek said that the company intends to dispute the law in court. Should the courts decide to postpone enforcement of the law until a resolution is reached, this might ultimately result in an extension of the deadline.
