Four Years of Hive and the Journey Goes on

Hey folks.

It has been now four years of Hive since it was forked and since then I have been on Hive after leaving Steemit.

It was sort of a bumpy road for me with ups and downs but I believe the good thing I did was to stay consistent by posting content on the platform.

I think if you have a bigger purpose and trying to achieve, that is when it keeps you motivated to stay consistent.

In the span of four years, Hive has expanded in terms of new dapps, new frontends and second layer tokens built on it.

Since these things have been happening on Hive, I believe Hive still is underestimated. I think Hive should have been more popular with a good number of users actively participating in the platform lately but things didn't go that way.

I believe the reason behind is lack of a good marketing campaign. Hive needs a dedicated and professional marketing team to spread the word about it.

We might see new users getting onboard if they hear about Hive, but if we try reaching out to them. Hive itself needs to work on its shortcomings as well if it wants to retain users that are already on Hive.

Good content is something that adds value to the platform and Hive does have good content creators but I think they are small in numbers. Good content creators should be compensated for their work, manual voting is something that could play an important role in this.

Anyway, I don't when are we going to see Hive rally, but I am hopeful about it. And probably that is what keeping me share content actively on the platform and keeping bagging more Hive.

Any thoughts you may like to add?
