A Hard Time

For a few weeks now a lot of things have been going on, since my sister fell sick and died of kidney failure, things have been really tough.
My mom's health became worst after her death, life hasn't been the same, so many issues with her health kept up and we were asked to leave the village.
This is where we have been staying for the past 8 years now, my mom had decided to relocate to the village when my dad wasn't there anymore, sometimes he called but he wasn't performing his fatherly duties.

I know it must have been tough for my mom for her to decide to take us to the village, how would she have thought she would survive the hardship that came with staying in the village?
But somehow she made it work out by doing farm work, I have four siblings including myself making us 5 altogether, we all followed her as she started doing farming work to make sure we were catered for, my dad was nowhere to be found all these times, though I love my dad, I can't dispute the fact about this, it just pains me that he was never really there for me and my siblings.

Even when my sister died, he wasn't there, he was always giving excuses, my cousins really tried to raise money for my sister but she still left us.

Now my mom is sick, I have taken the responsibility of being the first daughter after the death of my sister, we were asked to relocate so we could find a new environment for my mom's health, it hasn't been easy getting money, and thank God my cousin invited me to this platform and here I have been writing the little I can and earning a bit, I had to use my earning here to get ready for the travel to Lagos, it isn't enough yet, but my cousin and she have been helping out.
I feel down with the recent happenings and I just hope my mom gets back to being the strong woman she used to be.
I know it mostly because of the stress of taking my sister here and there that has taken a toll on her.

Hopefully when I get to Lagos I will be able to learn more about this platform to help myself and my siblings

Another issue we have about relocating is that one of my twin siblings has refused to leave the village because she says she prefers to stay with our pastor, though my mom has said we should let her be, and maybe she can come for her after the term finishes, I still don't feel good about it, this girl can be stubborn sometimes and she gets that from my mother.
In this kind of situation, I wish my sister was here, she would have known what to do.
.

The responsibility of being a firstborn is quite hard but I have no choice than to be strong for all of us, and I do hope that we can live this place we are now, maybe things would fall in place, that is a prayer I hope that it comes true for us.

Thanks for stopping by
