Evolution of Entertainment: From Limited Channels to Unlimited Choices

In today busy and hectic schedule we all feel exhausted by the end of day. The entertainment is one which give us the relief and add some fun in our lives. I always love to watch some comedy shows in evening to make me feel good, it give the energy to body and soul. Other then watching serial and movies, the music suits best to me if I am feeling frustrated. If I talk about the time 15 to 20 year back, their were very limited channels were available and not even were telecasted throughout the day. I remember their wee two channel we use to watch and they was timing in morning nd evening for telecast.

Now days their are number of ways the people watch their favorite TV serials and shows and mobile phone is the most used these days. The introduction of smart phone and the internet change the was people use to watch the serials and TV shows. All content is available online an time people can watch. Their is no limitation of time, I remember when I was kid we do not want to miss any episode of our favorite shows as we will not able to see the repeat telecast. Now day all the content is available on OTT platforms and people can watch anytime and any repeat time.

When I was in school, It was the time of CD and DVD players. We use to rent the VCR for full day to watch the movies. I was another fun to rent a DVD for full day and enjoy the movie at home on TV.
From old days I still remember some names of serial which I love to watch in my childhood, The Jungle book was the first in my list, followed by the Tom and Jerry shows. Every kid loves the cartoon and I was not spared. Shaktiman was the another name I remember, the first super hero on Indian TV history. The shows created a big noise in their time and was a super hit. The animation and effects were no too fancy as compare to today's technology but some experiment were new to the audience and were very much like by the people. If I saw those effects now that looks like kids play as compare to the VFX we say now days.

No doubt the things has been changed a lot. The content is available so easy and to everyone, The people form the eastern hemisphere can watch easily the content form the western hemisphere very easily which was not in thought of the people living in 80 and 90th centuries. Now days we have dedicated channels for all type of audience, for example for kids we have the option to choose channel which telecast the cartoon 24 hours a day, if you are traveler then you can choose the channels gives information about the different locations across the world, if you love the comedy or drama then you have the option for those also.
