My Mutual Funds Investment Returns with 60% - My Strategy Ahead

Ok, its not only crypto that can give you high returns but the traditional investment methods like investing in mutual funds is also lucrative. Here is an example of my investment in Mutual funds which at the moment is giving me a return of above 60% - amazing isn't it? Investing in any market is risk and that is where we see this disclaimer when investing in financial markets which says - Investors are encouraged to carefully read and understand the mutual fund disclaimer before making investment decisions. At the same time the acquisition of securities inherently carries a degree of market risk, making a mutual fund susceptible to fluctuations in market conditions. No risk No Gain - hence one needs to take that risk while investing and then only then can expect high returns.

My Investments - SIP for different Mutual Funds

Coming to my investment in mutual funds its been like 15 years that I have SIP [Systematic Investment Plan] for various mutual funds and in this example I have SIPs mainly for funds that is associated to Reliance industry. A sneak peak to my investment shows that my overall portfolio is fully invested into equites which is highly volatile assets and at the same time gives the maximum returns. What has been favorable here to me is that, I have been liquidating or selling the mutual funds units to book profits. And that money I redirect to fixed deposits giving me a fixed return of mover than 7%. Yeah I know that it does not beat the inflation but is a good source of regular income. My plan ahead here in this game of SIP that I will continue with my SIPs which is more than Rs.25K a month and will book profits and regular intervals redirecting all that profits to fixed deposit. I want to get to a point where all my monthly SIP is being paid by the interest received from the deposits. Then its like a complete cycle where money is working for you.

***SIP --> Fixed Deposit --> Interest --> SIP ***

Right now I am at a stage where my 50% of the monthly SIPs is being funded by fixed deposits. So need to work it out further until the full cycle of investment is complete. It already took me 15 years to build this but overall it has been a good journey investing in mutual funds via the Systematic Investment Plan.... thats all about it in this post about my journey with mutual funds and my strategy ahead.... cheers
