How to resolve out of GAS Error issue on Teritori Network - Simple & Easy Trick...

In my recent post on Teritori Network, I talked about Revisiting #TORI Stake - Booked Some Profits and my Strategy Ahead. You can find the blog post Here. Teritori Network, is a blockchain based on the Cosmos SDK. This network facilitates the connection, growth, and launch of new projects for both IBC and non-IBC communities. The key aspect is that $TORI serves as the governance token for this chain. And while I was checking my wallet and other details on the Teritori Network, I found out the on of my delegator to whom I have delegated #TORI tokens had deactivated his node and hence there were no rewards being giving out. I talk about the same in my next upcoming blog post but for now this post is more on the error which one gets while redelegating their stake to other active delegators. As you can see from the above image its clear from the message that I am Redelgating my #TORI tokens and the error message is around::

out of gas in location: WriteFlat; gasWanted: 250000, gasUsed:251662: out of gas

Person reading this message would try adjusting the gas to the value stated above which is 250000 - but to my surprise when you do so the transaction on the network will still not go and you will get this error message once. So what should one do to get rid of this - "Out of GAS" error message. Where is what I did and you can see the result the redelegation of the #TORI tokens was successful and now am earning more rewards coz. as I said the earlier validator had shit down his node.

The simplest way is to increase the gas amount for the transaction and set that as default and you should good to go in confirmation the transaction and as a result the error should go off. What you need to do is go the advance options and change the value of Gas with an extra one more as specified in the error message. You can see in thegollowing image, I have set an extra Gas here which is - 2500000 and this should do your job to get the transaction through.

Some reference to the github pages also guides in the same direction. The best part is that I enjoyed solving this error message, a bit of google search with some reading and hit and trial this error that was cropping up was resolved with ease.. Next time when you get the similar error just try increasing the gas transaction amount to a upper limit and see if that works out and solves your problem. cheeers
