Making Ecency Better

Hello friends, how are you? And how's your week going? Just the second day of the week so I am wishing you an amazing week ahead.
It's another weekly prompt of the @ecenecy-star community.Feel free to join here.

Ecency seems to be the easiest front end in hive. It is my best and every newbie I onboard I teach them to use first.
For me it is my best and over 90% of posts made on hive are through ecency. I barely use the peakd and if I want to make a financial post I use the leofinance frontend.
I love the fact that I earn for posting, reblogging, commenting and get ecency post and hive for delegating.

As much as I love and always want to stick with them there's some problems that should be resolved. Most times I have problems uploading my pictures here and I get error messages then at that point I have to use them peakd to post. Sometimes it goes on for days. Maybe if an upgrade is going on it should be faster because we have millions of people wanting to use the platform. I'm just lucky I can use all the front end or else it can be frustrating.

Also, I suggest we have something like ecency zealy monthly and also the threads, can be weekly too.

You are right. I love ecency but lately it's not be user friendly. I struggle with tags and the pictures when uploaded appear blurry. I do not know why. Anyway I hope there is an update that serves the users better.

I love using Ecency frontend to publish posts but with the recent challenges of picture upload, and network glitches it's been a bit discouraging for me.

I use all 3 major frontends, and don't use Leo, I don't do financial posting at all.
I post almost every single day on @heyhaveyamet, and the majority of my work is on Peakd because there are still too many bugs on Ecency. That is not saying that there are no problems with Peakd, because there are also; however, I have used Steempeak and then Peakd from the beginning. I think I have only posted a couple of times on Hive.blog when both Peakd and Ecency were down, Hive.blog being the bare-bones version of the Hive front-ends.

@heyhaveyamet is a project where we introduce new Hiveans, not a front-end, and Hive.blog is like the old Steemit.com website: it's basically bare-bones without all the extra perks we get in Ecency and Peakd.

Certainly the image loading thing seems like a general interface problem. At times I thought it was my internet connection, but I see that many Ecency users have this same problem. We'll see what good comes out of this contest. Greetings.

Unfortunately, this time ecency proposal hasn't passed, but I am still sure the team will do its' best to make Ececy better.

Sorry for recent issues that occurred during Ecency server upgrade. Devs tried hard to keep things running smoothly, but there were often some glitches. The new server is working beautifully, but if you are using the Mobile app always try going into 'settings' and selecting a different server to find one that may work better for you.
