Welcome To My Blog

Hello friends, I hope your week is going well.
It's another weekly prompt of the @ladiesofhive community.

We all have fears and sometimes fear. Fear sometimes pushes us to be better persons. Someone who has fear of poverty will have that mindset to be successful. But then we shouldn't allow fear to consume us and get the best of us rather we should work against that fear.

Source

As a child, I had many fears. Even as a girl. When I haven't started seeing my menstrual cycle. I had this fear of seeing my period. I was imagining how blood could come out of my body monthly. I didn't want that experience. Also seeing my elder sisters in pain every month I had that fear.

Yeah it finally came and that fear did disappear. Now monthly I go through a menstrual camp and I have another fear which is being pregnant and the day of delivery.
The pains which pregnant women pass through it's something else. Only this menses can come with much pain. Imagine carrying a human being for 9 months and then pushing the baby out. Sometimes even more than one .

To be sincere it scares me. When my sister was in the hospital in preparation for delivery. She called us and was crying, I was really scared and that night I wouldn't sleep but pray. It was at midnight she gave birth and we thank God.

I really wish when it's time God helps me and makes my own ease not painful and remove that fear because I haven't told anyone.

Thank you for reading

Obviously pregnancy and all the hormones going haywire and, it's normal to be afraid of taking responsibility for a baby. Because it's very real. I guess there is nothing else but thinking and wishing that everything will be fine, that everything will go well.

Hahah reminded me of myself, i was so scared of menstrual cramp, then getting pregnant. But every woman must go through that stage of life. And when i got pregnant it was the most painful day of my life but also the most sweetest day of my life🤣🤣

And after birth i stoped having menstrual cramps, the pain was just gone.

Getting pregnant is a 9 months journey more like 9 years journey if you lost count, i diffinantely cried when i was in labor, and after giving birth to a healthy baby the joy in my heart was comprehended to nothing in this world, and the whole pain i felt before just vanished as if nothing happened. I forgot about everything and wanted to get pregnant all over again to give birth to another baby🤣🤣, That was just how God made it and the reason why is a story for Another day. Maybe because he knew if we are reminded of the pain of childbirth no woman will want to get pregnant over again.

Yes ohh of cause, am not sure which of the pains you mean, but i'll specify

After giving birth i dont feel menstrual cramp pains anymore , like my menstrual flow will just pop in without pains and i so much love it this way. They say the lining of the uterus stretches so much during giving birth and the excessive pain during labor, that is why most people dont feel menstrual cramp after giving birth . Note it doesn't happen to everyone its just for most women depending on their body system . Anyways i wouldnt care less have been looking of a way to stop my menstral cramp and finally i love it more this way stopping it..

Oh! And yes after giving birth the labor pains was filled with so much joy, seeing my baby's face made me what to fly. And right now i have forgotten about labor pains or pregnancy journey and i really want to get pregnant over again and go through that pain and journey all over again, its very sweet. 😁😁, But too bad am on family' planning, Nigeria is not a place to born like rat, i choose to give birth to my second child in five years time. So that anticipation of pregnancy journey should wait first let me survive in Nigeria..

I soo had same fear about the monthly cicle... When I got mine I locked myself in the bathroom all day crying.. My life is over. My Sister was the opposite, she was all proud and like.. Im a woman now.
I am lucky one tho as I never have pain or such on my time of month, but I have friends who really is hurting and feel sick.
So different from person to person.

Pregnancy... YES... I shared that fear.

My Sister had night mare delivery that made me like... I never ever want to push out a baby and experience the complications and such that she went through. But then she did it 5 more times and gave birth to 5 healthy Boys.

I asked her why?
All she said was... Cause it is worth it and as soon as you hold your baby in your arms all pain and fear are gone.

Seing the happy faces made me change my mind... I want this to... Lol

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and I wish you a wonderful weekend. ❤️
