En esta serie de videos que estaré trayendo de manera exclusiva a nuestra comunidad de @hivemexico recapitularé todas esas tradiciones que me han hecho enamorarme de esta tierra y tengan por seguro que cuando ustedes tengan la oportunidad de visitarlas también caerán rendidos ante su belleza y en su caso su delicia.

La Cochinita
En Mérida y en todo Yucatán es una tradición todos los domingos desayunar la cochinita pibil, que de cariño le decimos solo "Cochinita".
La cochinita esta hecha con carne de puerco y no hay Yucateco que se respete que no desayune los domingos este manjar, el cual en su preparación lleva achiote que es el recado rojo y está horneado mayormente enterrado, en hueco en la tierra para darle mas sabor al estar cubierta de hojas de plátano.
Si visitas Yucatán y no comes cochinita los domingos, mare estas tronado con tu visita nene, no conociste Yucatán.
In Mérida and throughout Yucatán it is a tradition every Sunday to have cochinita pibil for breakfast, which we affectionately call "Cochinita".
The cochinita is made with pork and there is no self-respecting Yucatecan who does not have this delicacy for breakfast on Sundays. It is prepared with achiote, which is the red sauce, and is baked mostly buried in a hole in the ground to give it more flavor as it is covered with banana leaves.
If you visit Yucatán and you don't eat cochinita on Sundays, you've missed out on Yucatán.
