Good breakfast, full of energy

I turn around on the bed with my eyes still closed. I hear the wind hugging the roof of the house, whistling and singing to wake me up. I pretend to be asleep so I don't interrupt that mountain tune. Still, I open my eyes shyly. I slowly get up, open the curtains and look out the window. It's not quite dawn yet. A few rays of the sun patrol the hills of Vlasine, fighting through the gray clouds. Everything is somehow interwoven with peace and some natural balance ... I feel calm and satisfied ...
After the morning routine, I sat down and took it easy... A little sweet plum, a glass of homemade brandy and homemade coffee... My grandfather taught me a long time ago that this is the way to start the day. And that somehow stayed with me. I should apply that morning ritual from the village, at least on weekends and on vacation. Everything smells of some good times ... I found myself again in the whistling of the wind, the dripping of water from the drip tray ... This morning everything smells of some old familiar composition ... From the meadow, from the forest ... A melody that breathes life and plays with the heart. ..
When I got up early, then according to the old good custom, I also prepared breakfast. That mountainous way, dotted with various tastes and smells... Strong enough to last until lunch. Because on the mountain and in the fresh air, hunger is a frequent guest during the day....

Everything looks delicious. I bet your husband loves all your breakfasts. You make your own brandy very nice. I used to make it also with the left over grapes after maming my wine. I haven't made a brandy in years. but I make my wine every year. We husbands love good breakfasts made with love from our wife. I know I do.
