Indeed, without hope, faith and love, you can hardly move towards to a pacifist evolution, but without freedom, no one can do anything at all - from my point of view, the person who wrote that text in the quoted quote put values of individual freedom . The most precious being freedom in no case love - freedom of thought and of your own actions you can do what you want most.
