Por experiencia propia he comprobado que muchas veces los planes no salen como uno los planifica y es por esto que de vez en cuando nos toca improvisar, fui así como me sorprendieron esta semana, por compromisos laborales mis días lunes, miércoles y viernes están apartados de cualquier tipo de recreación, por lo que el resto de los días me dedico a realizar otros asuntos personales.

From my own experience I have found that many times plans do not go as planned and that is why from time to time we have to improvise, that's how I was surprised this week, due to work commitments my days Monday, Wednesday and Friday are away from any kind of recreation, so the rest of the days I dedicate to other personal matters.

Fue así como me sorprendieron mi hermana y mis sobrinos este martes, estando en el centro realizando algunas compras recibo una llamada y eran mis sobrinos que al unísono me dijeron – tía vámonos a la playa, estaban tan emocionados porque venían saliendo del colegio, no había electricidad en nuestra comunidad y lo mejor que se le ocurrió a mi cuñado fue ir a la playa, pero como sabían que yo estaría sola en casa me quisieron invitar, así que simplemente acepté la invitación y me pasaron buscando por donde yo me encontraba.

Aproveche el tiempo también para respirar aire puro y meditar un poco, ya que por día de semana era poca la afluencia de personas que había en el lugar, en eso mis dos pequeñas sobrinas fueron envestidas por la marea que llegó hasta la orilla donde se encontraban jugando, y para que le perdieran el miedo al mar mi hermana se llevó a mi sobrina pequeña, mientras que la hermana mayor enseñaba a su otra hermana a brincar en las olas, fue emocionante ver como ambas niñas le perdieron el miedo al mar y empezaron a disfrutar de su paseo, más me di cuenta que mi celular no contaba con mucha carga y que todavía quedaba paseo para disfrutar y momentos para capturar, por lo que opté por apagarlo.

I also took advantage of the time to breathe fresh air and meditate a little, because on weekdays there was little influx of people in the place, at that time my two little nieces were engulfed by the tide that came to the shore where they were playing, and to lose the fear of the sea my sister took my little niece, It was exciting to see how both girls lost their fear of the sea and started to enjoy their ride, but I realized that my cell phone didn't have much charge and that there was still a ride to enjoy and moments to capture, so I decided to turn it off.

De la playa camino a Fortín Solano (EL Castillete) como es parte nuestra historia y reserva nacional, mi cuñado quiso que el paseo no fuera solo de diversión sino también de instrucción, ya que dicho castillete sirvió en un principio como mirador para proteger el camino de los navegantes que se acercaran por agua a la ciudad de Puerto Cabello; ya que desde allí se podía ver toda la afluencia marina por los 4 puntos cardinales, también sirvió como cárcel a los presos de las tropas realistas y como parte de la historia de importantes enfrentamientos en los años 1813 y 1962.

Hoy en día sirve como monumento histórico y como mirador así que nuevamente mis sobrinos comenzaron a correr y ver quién sería el primero en observar atreves de los telescopio, también querían recorrer por dentro el fortín pero no sabemos porque a pesar que en la página web dice que está abierto al público hasta las 6 pm, ese día no fue así, por lo que solo nos limitaos a ver desde el mirador y recorrer los paisajes allí existentes, mis sobrinos mayores querían escalar el fuerte pero no se pudo, será en otra oportunidad.

Today it serves as a historical monument and as a lookout so again my nephews began to run and see who would be the first to observe through the telescope, they also wanted to tour inside the fort but we do not know why although the website says it is open to the public until 6 pm, that day was not so, so we just limited ourselves to see from the viewpoint and tour the landscapes there, my older nephews wanted to climb the fort but could not, will be another time.

Ya cuando la tarde estaba por terminar nos fuimos al malecón a ver el atardecer y a comer helados, mis sobrinas pequeñas aprovecharon para correr pues su energía seguía a mil por horas, las mías y la de mi hermana y cuñado estaban ya limitadas, así que solo me dedique a verles correr y ver la puesta del sol en el horizonte, fue un día totalmente diferente, nos salimos de la rutina y aprovechamos de festejar a los chicos por su rendimiento académico.

When the afternoon was about to end we went to the boardwalk to watch the sunset and eat ice cream, my little nieces took the opportunity to run because their energy was still at a thousand per hour, mine and that of my sister and brother in law were already limited, so I only dedicated myself to watch them run and watch the sunset on the horizon, it was a totally different day, we got out of the routine and took the opportunity to celebrate the kids for their academic performance.

Ya cuando la noche caía estábamos de vuelta a casa, los niños dormidos y nosotros pidiendo cama, lo único malo fue que no me pude bañar , más del resto disfrute de un día sin estrés, lleno de aire puro y lo más importante junto a mis sobrinos amados.

When the night was falling we were back home, the kids were asleep and we were asking for bed, the only bad thing was that I could not take a bath, but the rest I enjoyed a day without stress, full of fresh air and most importantly with my beloved nephews and nieces.
