I hope that one day

The world's definition of love is so scary that you would begin to wonder if there is genuine love out there for every one of us.

Every day, we wake up to hear different stories and take on what love means. Every day, we hear and witness gory stories of couples who we thought were in love divorce, most times terrifically and other times, quietly, and then we begin to ask ourselves, what happened, where did they go wrong?

What made their love stories get sore, these are people whose love stories inspired you to want to have a story like them, these are people whose love stories, made you pray to God daily for such love but then, in a twinkle in an eye, they come up with hot and scary tales about what they've been through or going through for the sake of love.

I pray that we find someone who would love us genuinely, someone who would be everything we prayed and ever wished for, I hope we find someone who is true to their words and cares for us and treats us like they would do for themselves.

I hope we experience true love, I hope that one day, we experience intimate love that will make us preach the gospel of love, I hope that one day we experience love at its peak, love that will satisfy us.

I hope that one day we experience love with someone who loves us in the same measure we love them, by their actions, words, body language, and unspoken words. I hope that one day we love someone the same way we want to be loved, I hope we treat someone the same way we want to be treated, and I pray that one day we find someone ready to go to any length for love we would want to go to.

I hope that one day we find someone we will love with everything within us without fear and we find someone who will do the same for us.
