Every day is a Blessing

Every day is a blessing, even when things are not working in your favour. I went to rehearsals today and one of the songs we sang was in my dialect. The song in English says,

"What my hands can not reach, God you gave them to you"

"Where my legs can not go, God, you went there for me"

"I have come to say, God, you've done me well, God you've done me well"

"I have come to thank you, God, you've done me well, God, you've done me well."

This song is an expression of a sincere desire to worship and give thanks to God for providing for our needs in a way that we were unable to.

Even though most times, we do not see the need to be grateful to God, because so many things we desire and wish for in life, haven't been done but being able to wake up daily, being able to see the beautiful dawn of the day, the sunshine, the stars, the moon, the rain, and complete 365 days is a reason to be grateful.

Being able to use our legs, and our hands, being able to see, being able to meet our daily set goals, being able to use the toilet, being able to eat and swallow is indeed a blessing we should be grateful for.

We wake up daily to hear horrifying stories that leave us in shock and with so much thought about life but yet, we never experience such things, it is more reason for us to be grateful and see each day as a blessing.

Every day is a blessing, so make each day you live on planet Earth count because we do not know about tomorrow. We only know how to plan, so make each day a blessing to yourself and others, see each day as an expensive blessing from God.
